The headline for the May 26, 2011, USA Today read “Fewer Couples Embrace Marriage.” The article noted that since the 2000 census, there has been a 25% spike in unmarried couples “living together.”. The Perpetual Pursuit: May 2015
http://theperpetualpursuit.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Cognitive aerobics for this precious journey called.LIFE. Saturday, May 23, 2015. From 'Tomology 101'- through some reading, experiences and observations, too often I am reminded of the many hurting relationships. The family unit is core to a healthy humanity and is has been/continues to be under attack. The I/Me society proves challenging- I believe the goal should be to out give others and focus less on what I can get. Acts 16:31; Col. 3:18-21;. 1 Tim 5:8;. 11:18-19; Joshua 24:15; Prov. 13:22;.

The Perpetual Pursuit: April 2015

Cognitive aerobics for this precious journey called.LIFE. Tuesday, April 21, 2015. I typically do not like using. The word ‘suck’ as it usually is used nowadays…….however, it seems to fit in this example-so here goes. Do you suck life’s delights from those God has placed in your earthly journey? It’s been said most folks enter relationships (especially marriage) selfishly. We tend to focus more on ‘what we will get’ rather than ‘how much we can give’. Relationships are critical to our overall well being.

The Perpetual Pursuit: Broken-Throw Away?
http://theperpetualpursuit.blogspot.com/2014/10/broken-throw-away.html
Cognitive aerobics for this precious journey called.LIFE. Saturday, October 18, 2014. He has plans for us all-He knows these plans to the very end and he has the best in mind for us- for good/to prosper us/not to harm/to give hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Caveat- we will not have a trial free life on this earth where we will not experience hurt. Contrast to the society we live in, God will simply keep opening His arms, waiting for us to come to Him. He will embrace and love us- ALWAYS!

Cognitive aerobics for this precious journey called.LIFE. Saturday, July 19, 2014. This an attempt to briefly paraphrase a story I came across a while back. Satan enters the picture and places negative/discouraging thoughts about God and what he has not done for the man. He tried to convince the man that what God had instructed was impossible and that the man had failed. In a disheartened stage, Satan asks the man, Why put all this effort? The man's call was to be obedient by pushing, to exercise his fai...

The Perpetual Pursuit: Living Sacrifice?
http://theperpetualpursuit.blogspot.com/2015/03/living-sacrifice.html
Cognitive aerobics for this precious journey called.LIFE. Sunday, March 1, 2015. I regularly attend services at church, but I must continually resolve to remember that this is just a part of worship that our God expects. Punching my time card at church can be in vain if I do not live a life as demonstrated in Romans 12:1-3. 8220; Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices. Holy and pleasing to God- this is your spiritual act of worship. Flowing in t...

Cognitive aerobics for this precious journey called.LIFE. Thursday, March 27, 2014. I can only imagine the brave soldiers that fight for our freedom feel a much needed sense of support/encouragement when they receive these 'letter's from home'. As God's children, He authored, through His servants, a most powerful letter.from our Heavenly Home. Yes, life will be challenging at times, yet it is very short and so precious. The Perpetual Pursuit: Insurance Agent
http://theperpetualpursuit.blogspot.com/2015/06/insurance-agent.html
Cognitive aerobics for this precious journey called.LIFE. Sunday, June 21, 2015. Ever consider yourself an insurance agent? I came across an article and wanted to share some thoughts. The article was designed to make us ponder if we have spiritual life insurance. We use a variety of insurances in life to protect us during accidents, health costs, fire, flooding, death, etc. What about our eternity? Do you have a relationship with Jesus-our protector/insurance agent? If not, look at Acts 2:38,. Through he...

The Perpetual Pursuit: A 'Penciled' life
http://theperpetualpursuit.blogspot.com/2015/08/a-penciled-life.html
Cognitive aerobics for this precious journey called.LIFE. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. I once read of someone that would write notes with pencil in the margins of their Bible. Why pencil and not a pen which is more permanent for future reference? Well, as this individual studied more, their thoughts and outlooks changed. The question marks were replaced(erased) with notes of joy/encouragement. Jesus has done the same with us. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Flowing in the right direction?

The Way Of The Courtesan | Doin' it with Ché
The Way Of The Courtesan. Doin' it with Ché. Transformational Soul Retrieval (get some, now). By The Way Of The Courtesan. March 10, 2014. Sometimes we get stuck in a loop. Well, I’d like to say loop but a loop conjures up images of really neat looking circles and when we get stuck, we get stuck in some very messy shapes. You can call it Karma, if you like, a karmic loop (sounds pretty, like jewelry! These loops generally involve crash and burn scenarios that facilitate our deep-seated belief in an old s...
