Kneadlessly Simple Bread
http://home-sweet-homemaking.com/2015/06/13/kneadlessly-simple-bread
June 13, 2015. This bread is amazing and like the title says, it is sooo simple! Crusty on the outside (thanks to cast-iron and water poured on top) and soft and chewy inside…It is like perfection of the bread world! Haha, well sort of. I can’t get over the amazing yeastiness of it either. That comes from the 24 hours of rising! The rising ferments the dough naturally kneading the dough and breaking down the phytates, which helps your body digest the bread better. Morning of day 1. Remove pot carefully a...

8220;Marriage and the Marks of Farm Life” (Bryan Welch). June 16, 2015. I found this article many years ago online. This story is special to me; I have enjoyed it for years and will continue to! I hope you enjoy it as well. He shares his love for his wife, while sharing their life on the farm. May I, one day, be a wife like this…a wife that loves the Lord, works hard, and stays with the one man God has for me no matter what hard things I will go through! But all God’s children leave their mark. But my wi...

He healeth the broken in heart (Psalm 147:3). November 23, 2015. To some of you, it may seem like I have it all together, but I don’t. I have been hurt. I have been lied about. I have been hated. I have been laughed at. I have have made mistakes and sinned. It goes on and on. But, I can’t ever change my past. It doesn’t make me a worse of a person. It just shows that I need Christ to heal my wounds. To build me back up. Only in Him will I find true rest, true healing, and true love. I have been loved.

A Story of Two Chickens
http://home-sweet-homemaking.com/2015/05/30/a-story-of-two-chickens
A Story of Two Chickens. May 30, 2015. For supper the next night I roasted two approximately 5 pound chickens, and we also had baked potatoes and corn. Each child got a serving of each, and they were required to eat the vegetables before they could have seconds on the chicken. Only one had seconds. When we were all done eating there was still most of the breast meat left, as we all like dark meat. Those two chickens fed three full meals, plus some left overs, to 8 people, and gave a snack for the dogs!

Christians are Not Immune to Sin
http://home-sweet-homemaking.com/2015/12/27/christians-are-not-immune-to-sin
Christians are Not Immune to Sin. December 27, 2015. We Christians are not immune to sin. We sin and that is why we have such a need for our Saviour- Jesus Christ who bore our sins on the cross. In our own flesh we desire no good thing, but sin- but through Christ, He has given us a desire to please Him and do what is right and good. But we have to keep in mind that we can not overcome anything by ourselves- EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. we will fail.Yes, I have learned that the hard way. At Home Sweet Homemaking!
