Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Little late on the Birthday post - we are having so much fun this summer I am finding it hard to find time (when I am not exhausted) to blog. We had two parties for the kids - the first we invited two families for a "pool party" and dinner. These two moms and I get together once a month and pray for our 8 children. Tuesday, July 21, 2015. It has been almost 5 years since I blogged! I don't know if normal people blog anymore or is just people that are famous and making money at it? I am going to blog mostly for myself and for my children. I am disappointed that I have not kept it up as it would have been a great place to keep more than just pictures and the posts that Facebook decides are important. This summer A and A turned 10! We started the celebration by flying to California and going to Legoland.

Saturday, September 26, 2009. Teddy Bear Parade and Apple Picking. After the parade we drove to Hood River to go apple picking. The kids had so much fun picking the apples and we came home with a lot of apples that I now have to do something with all of them :-). Arriving at the parade staging area. Checking out the fire engine while we waited. Getting a little tired along the way. Love finding nice red apples. Mmmmm - these look yummy! Heading back from the orchard. Sunday, August 29, 2010. Today I turn 50 years old! I have such mixed emotions about this milestone. When I was 20 or 30 or even 40 if you had told me I would be raising 2 five year olds on my 50th I would have told you you were crazy! I know I am not the first to do it (my mother had a 4 year old on her 50th) Don't get me wrong - I love my kids and am so blessed to be their mother. So all in all - I am happy turning 50! Wednesday, December 23, 2009. You can tell it is Christmas time and lots going on in our lives as the posts have increased :-). We started out with two crafts. We made a little stand up Nativity set that I found here. For lunch we had rice balls, chicken nuggets, tater tots and Christmas Jello and for dessert we had Happy Birthday, Jesus cupcakes. It also happened to be one of their friends birthdays so we had 4 candles in our cake and sang Happy Birthday to her and to Jesus! Monday, December 21, 2009.

Thursday, October 29, 2009. The Flu and the "Pumpkin Patch". We had a bad bout with colds, strep throat and the flu! The kids are on the mend but I am still feeling the affects. I snapped a couple pictures one day when they were sooo sick. They both had high fevers for 5 or 6 days and we were all house bound for about 10 days in all. Our only outing was one time to the doctors for the strep throat. My very sick babies :-(. Enjoying their little party with their classmates. Tuesday, October 13, 2009.
