jaykayknits: Cutch Ginkgo
http://jaykayknits.blogspot.com/2015/04/cutch-ginkgo.html
I wrote about this shawl a few weeks ago when I wrote about all the projects. I had on my needles. I wasn't expecting to be finished with it this soon, but after weighing my yarn halfway through the second chart repeat, I realized Jesse and I would be playing some serious yarn chicken if we repeated the entire chart twice, so we bound off after working the chart one and a half times. The result is a lovely sized, delicate, shawl. The above color is probably the most accurate that we could get. Thanks to ...

Finished Object: Henriette | Yarning Over the Days
https://yarningoverthedays.wordpress.com/2015/05/06/finished-object-henriette
Yarning Over the Days. She's taking it day by day and stitch by stitch…. May 6, 2015. May 6, 2015. This past Sunday, I completed my Henriette. I made the XS size because Andi suggests 1-3 inches of negative ease for this cardigan. Also, I did not use 3/4” buttons as recommended. My buttons are 1”. They were in my button stash and they worked out perfectly. I like them. Yarn – Berocco Ultra Alpaca Chunky. Color – Winter White. Needle – Size 9 (5.5 mm). Level – Intermediate. Size – XS (29). FO: Pebble Beach shawl - Woollen Wilderness
http://woollenwilderness.com/projects/fo-pebble-beach-shawl
FO: Pebble Beach shawl. Pattern: Pebble Beach Shawl. Yarn: Malabrigo Yarn Sock. Yay, this was such a quick and enjoyable knit! I’m on a bit of a Malabrigo sock binge and again this is one colourway I love. I wasn’t sure how it would knit up, but I love how this shawl is very colourful without being very colourful (does that even make sense? Still don’t think I would ever knit socks with it, seriously doubt it would be durable enough. 29 thoughts on “ FO: Pebble Beach shawl. Het lijkt wel of iedereen sjaa...

FO: Prairie Spring socks - Woollen Wilderness
http://woollenwilderness.com/projects/fo-prairie-spring-socks
FO: Prairie Spring socks. This is what monogamous knitting will apparently get you, a relatively fast FO! Although it still took me 3 weeks, which isn’t exactly a sock knitting record. Yarn: Spun Right Round Superwash Sock 80/20. You can find my pictures of the yarn here. And I can recommend the pattern for any sort of variegated yarn. I didn’t make any interesting mods, just some tiny things you can find on my project page. 14 thoughts on “ FO: Prairie Spring socks. Off to fav it! Wow, love them to bits!

jaykayknits: Summer Lovin'
http://jaykayknits.blogspot.com/2015/07/summer-lovin.html
I'm going to be honest here. This is a very unpopular opinion, and I totally understand, but I feel the need to voice it anyway. I don't really like summer. I can assure you that it is terrible. And while it usually isn't hot here in comparison to many other places in the US, this summer we've already hit 90 multiple times. That's really, really hot here. Especially for June. To help cope with these sweaty months, I've really thrown myself into summer knits. First there was my Seaboard Tank. It looks gre...

indie.knits: (Free!) Pattern Release: Camas
http://blog.indieknits.com/2015/05/free-pattern-release-camas.html
Tuesday, May 19, 2015. My contribution to the 2015 Puget Sound LYS Tour, the Camas. Hat, is now available to everybody - and this one's a freebie! I had an awesome time on the yarn tour - thank you so much to all of you who came to say hello, and to everyone who shared their positive feedback about my hat. It was really exciting to have my design so well-received! It's also a pretty simple knit, with just a touch of lace to keep you occupied in between bands of garter stitch. I designed the sample in the colorway Phinney Ridge, an exclusive Hazel Knits colorway developed for us, just for this event! Posted by Cory Ellen Boberg. Hi, I'm Cory!

Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Ballgown: Day 27 (Or, Loose Ends). Just few days, some hand sewing, a waist stay, and a couple dozen buttons left, and my little Cutie on the table becomes Clara, brought to life - and I can't wait to meet her. indie.knits: December 2014
http://blog.indieknits.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Year In Review: 2014. On January 2nd of this year, I had this to say about my intentions for the coming days. Although I'm tempted to exactly outline the sparkly, new-wardrobed Cory who will be writing this same post in a year's time, I'm more inclined to leave it fuzzy:. 2014 will be a year of building both humility and confidence;. A year of being a student of many things;. A year of quiet and constant growth. I had a rough beginning of the year, health-wise. It's been a d...
