After attending film school at Towson University, Matt Barry worked as a freelance video director, editor and videographer in the Baltimore area for a couple years before moving to New York in 2009 to pursue his Master’s in Cinema Studies at NYU. He currently lives in the New York City area, but still makes most of his films (including A SIMPLE MISUNDERSTANDING) in his home state of Maryland.
