Tuesday, July 22, 2014. Adare Manor, County Limerick, Ireland. So we took a 2 hour train from Dublin to Limerick, then loaded a bus for a 45 minute bus ride to Adare Village. The minute I got situated on the bus I realized that I had left my camera on the train. I jumped up and hopped off the bus just in time to see the train pulling away from the station. The weather is fabulous and it's a great time to be outside playing, hiking, or just watching the River roll by! Da Boyz brought their parents for Conference, too, and we enjoyed an Easter Egg hunt between sessions that I neglected to capture with photos.#fail. Wednesday, May 21, 2014. This year our ward was assigned to clear a piece of property for Habitat for Humanity. Here's the crew who we started with - we ended up with 35 volunteers and a total of 103 service hours. Members of all ages came out and got a little dirty as we cleared the area - some of us with trimmers. Some of us with weed whackers (that's Paul on the right). Some of us with chain saws. The museum is almost 2 hours away from Portland (if I remember correctly) but the drive is pretty and the destination is amazing! Lucas turned into a 5 year old boy as soon as we walked through the door. Even since we moved here he has wanted to go see the Spruce Goose and we finally made it! This plane is SO BIG.
