Life in Our Shoes. Thursday, April 30, 2009. We came in for induction Wednesday morning (4/29/09) at 7:15am. We got all settled in and started the Pitocin at 8:00am. By 9:00am I was at 3cm dilated, 100% effaced and they broke my water (which was pretty disgusting, by the way). By 11:30am I was ready for my epidural! Wow in only an hour! 15 minutes later I was at 10 and ready to go. We had to wait about 20 minutes because someone else was delivering at the same time. 20 minutes in all and no tearing!

Life in Our Shoes. Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Thought we would share some of our Tuesday with you! We have had a great day! I am doing his tummy drops (gas drops) with every feeding and some exercises (pulling his legs down and pushing them up and massaging his tummy and legs) to help him release the gas and to poop more. It seems to be really helping! He had a much more restful sleep last night and has been in a great mood today! He is liking his bath more and more now that he can "lounge" in the warm water!

Life in Our Shoes. Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Moving on to May. May was filled with Birthday parties, playing outside and procrastination on packing to move. I did not feel well at all for most of May. Luckily Drake was able to keep my busy and my mind off of it most of the time. :). Drake found a new favorite spot under the end table. He is a perfect fit! He LOVES to mow with Daddy! He hears the mower start in the house and starts yelling to go outside. Trying out his new water table from Aunt TiTi.

We were packing, making sure all the paper work was moving along, inspections, insurance quotes, etc, etc. But we still made time for some playing! Trying out the sprinkler ball from Pat and Jessica. He wasn't too sure about the cold water spraying out, but he likes to roll the ball! Swim shoes are just cute. :). Using his pool for the 1st time.
