This afternoon, a customer purchased a glass of orange juice with a 100 dollar bill. Shortly after, the police came by, and we discovered that the bill was a counterfeit. We spend a lot of attention on perfecting the coffee drinks, and have the best equipment to do so. A lot of our customers are simply captivated by our hot chocolate made with steamed milk and chocolate sauce, decorated with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, coupled by an irresistible log of solid chocolate. Before we found out that we were pregnant (in January 2008), we planned to head to England immediately following Ben’s graduation for both of us to earn PhDs in something like Philosophy or The Hisory of Ideas. We had also entertained thoughts of joining AmeriCorps. Jen finished her masters degree (MCS — Masters in Christian Studies) in April 2009.
