Yes we are still alive here in Lake Stevens. Our computer with all the pictures decided to die and that has made it difficult to download and use pictures on the blog or Facebook. Keeping you updated on the happenings of Neil, Shelly and Avery. Friday, November 23, 2012. Thanksgiving started with a 29 lb turkey aptly named "Dinner" by Avery. The before and after pictures of "Dinner" tell the rest of the story. It was awesome that all of the family could make it for such a great day. What took a couple days to put together was devoured in a matter of minutes. Friday, November 16, 2012. Thursday, November 15, 2012. No sports for the Hendersons this winter.What should we do?

Thanks to to Jen, Nathan and Hunter for sharing their cabin with us and Mark, Kim and the Boys for bringing their snowmobiles so everyone could have a fun time. Red Raspberries, Golden Raspberries, Black Raspberries, and lots of yummy Blueberries. They turned raspberries into freezer jam and made this fruit pizza.(Shelly actually did the decorating) The eating part was the best.can't wait for another slice tomorrow. Could be breakfast? Tonight Avery asked if she could help with dinner. She dipped the pork cutlets in flour, then egg and then breadcrumbs. We fried them, melted mozzarella on them and topped them with marinara and arugula. Great sandwiches! Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Two Hour Late Start 6:00 am. Home from School 4:00 pm.

A DAY IN THE LIFE. Thursday, August 14, 2014. While in the Sunshine State, we made it back to the Kennedy Space Center to see the Space Shuttle Atlantis. It was an amazing sight- one that we will never forget. You could stand so close that it was almost touchable- almost but not quite (I am sure they strategically placed it that way). A DAY IN THE LIFE. Saturday, November 9, 2013. It's the Grim Reaper, a Ninja in a body suit and a Sock Hopper. Can you guess who was who? Hint: Henry was the complete opposite of last year's cuddly and cute costume. Tuesday, November 5, 2013. I promised you more to come. . . What a creative thing to do with garden giants- its a family of ghostly zucchinis! Saturday, November 2, 2013. Some Fall Time Fun. We are always having a great time with the Hendersons and this latest episode was exactly the same!
