Wednesday, 3 August 2011. Gratitude and appreciation. Are they really such tough lessons to learn? Some people just never do, it is as if the world owes it to them. And I really want to have nothing to do with the likes of them. Anyway, I've decided, or rather, almost made up my mind to pursue my dream. My dream to make a difference in the lives of others, to never live my life like any Tom, Dick or Harry can. I hope it is the right thing to do, that it is all for the best. God, please help me. Amen.

Inked Thoughts and Midnight Monologues

Inked Thoughts and Midnight Monologues. A fluid state of being with a memorable trail, through a river full of thoughts I sail. Leaving the labyrinths of a chaotic world behind, it’s a journey through the jungles of my subconscious mind. I look into the mirror. I don’t see myself. The irony of it consumes me. It tears me apart. And yet, all I see is me. I ruffle my hair to see a change. Finally a reflection of my emotion. And yet the wounds don’t show. My eyebrow quivers, my eyes a silver molten. For I&#...

The Whimsical Bee | My simple life in the countryside of Michigan

My simple life in the countryside of Michigan. April 2, 2014. As my little one was snuggled in my arms napping, he had one hand over his face. I studied that hand, all the little dimples and the smoothness. I thought about how much I love baby hands. After I put him to bed last night, I watched him sleep. Watched his little hands rest on his tummy. Watched his chest rise and fall. Watched him wiggle his head around until he was comfy. June 10, 2013.
