Tuesday, November 29, 2011. I made a trip to the bead store over Thanksgiving break. I had an urge to make a bracelet like one I saw on Etsy. Check it out HERE. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. I dropped Quinn off at the Scout House yesterday, for camp. He seemed excited to go. He's on his own until tomorrow, when Kevin goes up to relieve the other adult leader. Friday, December 23, 2011. These are all giant lanterns which light up. This dragon pagoda is pretty cool. Quinn, don't ask me what he's doing. He always has a plan. Cute, colorful snowman! This is a really big shoe. I guess the old lady who lives in a shoe, celebrates Christmas too. Jeez, I bet Christmas is expensive when you have so many children (that you don't know what to do). Monday, December 3, 2012. I am still here. It's just been very busy. Marching Band kept our Saturdays very busy. It just ended, so now we have free weekends, and if Quinn decides he really doesn't want to play baseball this season, we'll have even more time on our hands. Since my last post, here's some of what's been going on. Since the Giants won the World Series this year (Go GIANTS! There was a parade, and since there was a parade, Kevin and I had to go! Then there were lots of band competitions.

Monday, October 31, 2011. I am happy to finally share my Halloween costume! I spent part of Saturday, putting it together. I am an iPhone! I even have the Apple logo on the back! I made the entire thing out of felt. I made a basic bag type pullover, and then attached the apps with fabric glue. I used my own phone for inspiration. I even have Angry Birds! Posted by I am Julie. Sunday, September 25, 2011. Riley spent the night at the park Friday night. It was part of a big Scouting event. The Boy Scouts got to sleep in the park Friday night, and then participate in Dragon Boat Racing on Saturday morning. The Cub Scouts showed up Saturday morning for the Cub Scout Games. It was tent city Friday night-Saturday afternoon. LOTS of Boy Scout troops stayed the night at the park. Heading to the Dragon Boat with his troop and another troop. Posted by I am Julie. Monday, September 10, 2012. Cal Berkeley High School Band Day. This is Cal's band. There are over 100 people in their band! They played Call Me Maybe, for one of their songs. Sunday, October 21, 2012. Riley had a band competition in Santa Cruz yesterday, so we all went. Quinn skipped his baseball game to go, and my mom and dad went as well. There's a Monterey Bay visitor's center in Santa Cruz. It's free! They let us use their potty too! This whale tail is just outside. Fun for kids of all ages!
