Mexican and American inspired breads, flatbreads, y mas. December 28, 2014. For about 16 to 20 dumplings. 1 cup masa harina. 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable shortening. 3/4 cup warm water. For 1 batch I added 1/4 cup loosely packed chopped cilantro, for a second batch I added 1 teaspoon each of ground toasted chipotle pepper and ground toasted Ancho pepper.
