Strawberry picking….the smell of the strawberries as the tractor takes you through the fields, the bright red strawberries peeking through the leaves, the squashed strawberries under our feet and the evidence around your face that you had ate half the field! He was not sure at first so I encouraged him up the wall by tying his old ‘Ted’ to the rope and showing him how to belay him up the wall. 8230;but we could not get Ted down lol (he is no weight at all)! Life through my lens. CTD – We Love Strawberries. May 21, 2013. They are a staple in our family. We go through a pound, easily, each week. Last spring we attempted to grow some in our garden, but the squirrels apparently though it was there for them! Sadly, I think we only got 5 or 6 berries from that whole season. it was sad.
