Thursday, August 09, 2012. What a fun weekend we just had! Some friends invited us to go camping, so at the last minute we packed up and headed out for a long weekend. We thought. We were meeting them at a campground on a lake. But, the campground was full and our friends set up camp - in the wilderness. I'm not gonna lie.I was a bit nervous about not having a bathroom. But, I put on my big-girl panties and got over it. And it was so much fun! The nice drive up the mountain. Our home away from home.

We are the parents of four children, including two sons adopted from Ethiopia. Our adoption journey began after dealing with infertility and miscarriage. We chose international adoption as the means for which we wanted to adopt, and in December of 2005 we began the process of adopting from Ethiopia. In January of 2007 we traveled to Ethiopia pick up our almost-five-month-old son. We are too. Our family is far from perfect, but it's the perfect family for us. Our homestudy agency: Idaho Youth Ranch.
