Our travels as a family. Denmark Animal Farm and Alpaca Stud. We arrived just before it opened at 10am and were given a bag of feed each which was included in the entrance fee. Our first stop were the Koalas as they had just been given some tasty leaves to eat and so were awake. We were lucky enough to have a little pat before they finished eating and went to sleep. Our travels as a family. Hotham Valley Steam Train. Hotham Valley railway train leaves from Dwellingup every weekend and public holiday. We purchased the tickets online as we were only down there for one day and didn’t want to miss out. Our travels as a family. We spent a lovely 4 nights at a cottage on this farm stay. It’s located about 12km south of Manjimup and 19km north of Pemberton so is a great base to explore the region. The views from the cottage and veranda were beautiful, across the paddocks and dam. We could also see some of the animals too and the peacock that roamed around.
