Our Story - The Whitman Institute
http://thewhitmaninstitute.org/about
A Preliminary from John. When I talk about The Whitman Institute’s origins and history; my relationship with its founder, Fred Whitman; our trajectory since he passed away people often say you should tell that story. For now, I’m just going to paint a general picture of how we got to where we are today. Because I have been so intimately involved in TWI’s evolution, we decided I should write in my own voice. Wednesday, May 23, 2012. A Network with No Expectations. The practical magic and inspiration of Boston's Barr Fellows Network story. Is captured simply by the following admission from Lyndia Downie, Executive Director of Pine Street Inn, -. I'm not sure I buy all this network theory, but I love the people in this network. These are 3 distinctions I found useful:. Alignment network: shared vision. Action network: people mobilize towards common goals and collective action. In the event that this case study...

The Whitman family
Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Every since I became a mother of 3 I have been trying to organize my life and house. Boy is it a never ending challenge. While I was pregnant I found this wonderful blog. IHeartOrganizing. It is the best! So IHeartOrganizing is doing a monthly challenge to organize a room a month. I love a challenge so I was totally in. The month of January was the home office. Somewhere that I needed LOTS of help in. Keeping it real. Don't judge. Now to keep it this way :). How about 4 years.

Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Halloween is so fun with three little girls. Actually, a lot of things are fun with these three girls. I can't help but smile whenever I look at their cute faces. Especially in action or candid shots. I can usually tell what they were doing or saying or thinking at that moment. I really feel so lucky that I've been blessed with these three. I like this picture because it sums up their personalities so well. Oh Eleanor, silly goose! This girl and her faces! She is so expressive.
