Daniel 3:16-18) by Thom Avery. Saturday, July 28, 2012. Dictionary.com defines vacation as " a. Holiday." The last week of June, the Avery's vacationed in Fort Morgan, Alabama. For those of you who have young children, you know that even if you call it a "vacation," it does not involve rest from the activity of parenting. You just move the activity to a different location. This is especially true for moms. While I mostly got a week off from work, Ruth's work came right along with her. One of the two pools.

Daniel 3:16-18) by Thom Avery. Saturday, April 7, 2012. A couple of weeks ago, Ruth and I decided to pack up the kids and take a weekend trip to the southern part of Missouri. We wanted to get out of town, swim in a hotel pool and do some hiking. Check! First stop was Bollinger Mill. It was built in the early 1800's and then burned down by Union troops during the Civil War. The current building was built in 1867. It was pretty cool and had a covered bridge next to it. They were just on some guy's farm.
