In order to beat the crowds we left Arafat around 5pm even though the time for making supplications at Arafat finished at Maghrib time around 6pm. Despite our departure time it still took us about 4 hours (until about 9pm) to reach Muzdalifah. To give you an idea of how far we traveled. Although it isn't until we meet up with other Australians at Malaysian Airlines check in at Sydney Airport that I really believe that we are on our way! Having only slept 4 hours the night before trying to organise everything for my children while I was away and packing, the flight to Kuala Lumpur was a bit of a blur, so was landing there at 3am in the morning.
