For those of you that don't already know my miraculous news, here it is: we are putting the adoption on hold for now because I am pregnant. I explained that God must have wanted us to find him first. I have only the updated home study left, and we should have that any day now. I remember when we were months away from traveling last time. I would always ask Kevin, "I wonder what our baby is doing now? He always answered, "Sleeping," of course because of the time difference. We just bought him his first mountain bike.

Because the greatest joys in our lives are not risk-free. Wednesday, September 23, 2009. We have scheduled our first home study appointment. It will be next Wednesday, Sept. 30. We have lots of paper work to get done before then. The hardest part now is that because Kevin is so busy with work, we are really trying to work around his schedule. His work hours, though, are about 10-12 hours a day! Hopefully, things will calm down a bit soon. Saturday, September 5, 2009. Application is Filled Out!
