The Balancing Act: May 2014
http://thornberrymcwhorter.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 19, 2014. Happy Hadley is 5 months old. My goodness, this baby girl can smile. I'm sure she does all kinds of other cute things as well, but her smile is what people comment on all the time. There is also a deep gut laugh that goes along with that smile. It's irresistible. She still doesn't show any interest in eating. We've tried carrots, apples and whole grain cereal. She's not into any of it. Friday, May 9, 2014. 4 Month Pictures (a week before month 5). This week has definitely been her b...

The Balancing Act: October 2014
http://thornberrymcwhorter.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Double digits, and some terribly precious pumpkin pictures. True story. She just follows him all the time, and flips out if she can't find him. One more thing. Hardin went to his first football game. Jason had big plans of taking him to his first UGA game this season and then we backed out last minute. When we talked about what it would be like he simply asked, but don't they know that I don't like loud? Thursday, October 23, 2014. My baby's almost four. These pictures are fr...

The Balancing Act: Hardin Says
http://thornberrymcwhorter.blogspot.com/2015/03/hardin-says.html
Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Hardin is almost four and a half. He knows exactly what he likes and doesn't like, and is so honest with his feelings and preferences it takes us by surprise sometimes. Wouldn't it be great to look at a lunch crowd and tell them you are just not warmed up yet, give me a few minutes? Or to find such pleasure in the correct pair of pajamas, and two packs of oatmeal not just one mama, and still warm but not hot, with a blue spoon because I'm a boy, with cold milk without a lid.

The Balancing Act: Hardin's glasses, Hadley's attitude.
http://thornberrymcwhorter.blogspot.com/2015/02/hardins-glasses-hadleys-attitude.html
Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Hardin's glasses, Hadley's attitude. See how nicely I told that story? But, at the end of the day all is well and Hardin LOVES HIS GLASSES. That is a zillion prayers answered for sure. He is an extremely active kid and I was worried they would get in his way and he would hate them. The doc told him he didn't have to wear them if he was playing rough or outside, and I quickly shook my head no no. This is his "I'm a little shy" face. LOVE HIM. Tootsie is so lucky to have Hardi...

The Balancing Act: February 2014
http://thornberrymcwhorter.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 21, 2014. Two months with the sweetest girl. She wakes up happy and as long as you are talking to her or smiling at her she is talking and smiling right back. I think she's definitely going to be a girl that thrives on being around people. Monday, February 10, 2014. A few days ago we went to Cat's and my father in law reminded me again. Tonight I'm scrolling through pictures uploading them to Costco, in doing so I'm finding many random pictures from our first couple of months with Hadley.

The Balancing Act: December 2014
http://thornberrymcwhorter.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 18, 2014. Happy little Hadley is ONE! Monday, December 8, 2014. Do not make me pick just one. I cannot do it. I scrolled through these a few times trying to pick which one of each shot to post in here, and then thought, WHY? There are less readers than I can count on my hands, and any one here would love them all too. I get tears in my eyes every time I look at them. I love our little family more than I ever thought I could love anything, and then a little more. The center of the act.

The Balancing Act: January 2014
http://thornberrymcwhorter.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 31, 2014. Such a pretty little thing. Hardin went for an unplanned spend the night with Gigi this afternoon, and I found myself alone with my camera and my girl. PICTURE TIME. She's wearing a sweet little Feltman Brother's dress that mom bought the day after I found out I was having a girl, and my Buster Brown crib shoes she's saved all these years. It's worth noting this is her first time in anything smocked. Wednesday, January 29, 2014. After we took pictures I brought the baby inside a...
