Whittell: March 2011
http://whittel.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 3, 2011. Whittington Riggs Lary was born a 8:23 am on February 17, 2011. He came in weighing a whopping 7lbs 3 oz and he was 19 1/2 inches long and by no means the moose he was predicted to be. He is however, perfect. Please say hello to my sweet little chickpea, lobster, moose, munchkin, or whatever little nickname we give him that day. Thursday, March 03, 2011. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Whittell: February 2012

Friday, February 17, 2012. Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes. Today our little man turned ONE! It is so hard to believe. What a difference a year makes! I really can't wrap my mind around the idea that I have a one year old. I feel like I just got used to the idea of having a baby . and then again at the same time it feels like Whit has always been. I sometimes forget that it has only been year. much like I don't really remember my life without his Papa. Friday, February 17, 2012.

Walking with loud giant steps while he can because he's already noticed that when you grow up, even if you do keep walking as big as you can, you have to be quiet about it, or other people get headaches. Whittell: December 2011

Thursday, December 15, 2011. Character Building and Child Proofing. In my naive days of pre-motherhood, I had a certain idea about child-proofing. I believed that I would not really need to do a whole lot. I mean what can a 17 lb, 27 inch little person. Get into. That question has now been answered. The answer is EVERYTHING and then some. I have moved everything around, off the floor, plugged up plugs, moved cords, replaced broken lamps. Everyday my living room makes a transformation. Links to this post.

Whittell: November 2010

Monday, November 22, 2010. What's in a Name? Or Whit and the little whit. 0r How I learned to stop worrying and love the name. Or my favorite. "I wouldn't do that". Really? Who thinks it s a good idea to ask someone if they have thought of name for their unborn child and then to answer like that. Thankfully my friends and family have been way more supportive all loving the name and in fact, some, cheering when I told them we had finally settled on it. So get ready to meet. In February of 2011. I have str...

I have been keeping a little secret and it didn't seem right to blog about little things without mentioning the BIG ONE. so . I am going to post about how we found out and all the fun stuff in between, but for right now this Mama needs some sleep. So I will just leave you with a few pictures of some really excited big siblings. they have no clue what is about to hit them.

Whittell: September 2010

Saturday, September 25, 2010. The squirrel has been put in the capable hands of the people at the Cypress Park Zoo. Lovely place about 45 minutes from here. They have wildlife rehabilitation for all sorts of animals. I am so glad I found them, because I think John was getting concerned that I was going to start bottle feeding the little guy. because that is exactly what we need a squirrel, two cats, a dog, and a newborn.
