Thursday, August 28, 2008. The girls sure are not going to be happy when they go to pour themselves a bowl of Lucky Charms and find they have no marshmallows. Monday, August 25, 2008. Aubrey's first day of 4th grade. Ashlyn's first day of MIDDLE school. The first day of school is here again. I have to say I really enjoyed summer with the kids this year. I know that each 'first day of school' means they are another year older and are experiencing new aspects of life each year. One more goodbye for Layla.

Wednesday, March 11, 2009. So, we've been working on little "projects" during our days off and evenings, so I apologize for being a little out-of-the-loop lately. All this, while trying to keep up our jobs, friendships, and entertain our kiddos too. It's been fun! During these times, we've left the camera handy to take some before and afters, to be posted when all is complete! Oh yeah, and the toaster. Nice! Tuesday, September 30, 2008. He just looks so innocent, doesn't he. Never trust a book by its cover! Thursday, September 25, 2008. Yesterday Ashlyn went to the orthodontist for the works! Bless her heart, she has a mouth full but is taking it like a champ. She has top braces, top expander and bottom expander type thingy. In about a month she will have her. I sent her off to school loaded up with Motrin and stopped by Wal-Mart and bought them out of wax! Hang in there Ashlyn.it will get better everyday.

Saturday, July 4, 2009. Cody just finished up 2 weeks of swim lessons and is on his way to becoming a little fish. (Although he has much more confidence then his skill level! We have never allowed him to go down the slide before just for total selfish reasons.I knew that I would have to get in and catch him. .and I knew he would want to do it over and over and over and over and over again.
