This winter we have watched snowstorm after snowstorm pass right over the south and literally POUTED that we weren't getting a flake. I love how a snow sprinkle brings the south to a grinding halt and quiets our busy lives. I LIVE for snow days. They are my most favorite kind. They had a winter wonderland and cousins to boot so it was a day full of fun and memories. Here are some of my favorite shots. Grandpa would rather have a snowball fight than eat when he is hungry! Well to say we have been getting up with the chickens around here would be a very true statement! It is science fair season and both of the girls have been heavily involved with projects for school. On the lake seals the deal that we are officially back home! Growing up, this is how we ALWAYS celebrated our country's birthday, and I have to admit that our 4th's in Texas just weren't the BOOM that I was use to, without the lake.
