A Rose Has Teeth: The Fresh Prince of Guangzhou
http://followtheelephant.blogspot.com/2009/04/fresh-prince-of-guangzhou.html
Tuesday, April 21, 2009. The Fresh Prince of Guangzhou. Master interrogators. They don't use waterboarding, so much as a barrage of personal questions. Walking fashion faux-pas. Wearing shirts and floral curtains as dresses on top on 6' heels that they certainly can't walk in. Man-hunters. You're not married, are you teacher? Oh, that's 'single' in China. And as much as I see these walking cliches, there will always be that lovable black sheep in the school:. His name is Medo. He's from Saudi Arabia.

Stories of Kaare's: July 2010
http://iverlog.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Backlogs and new blogs. Thursday, July 1, 2010. If I lactate latency does it add potency. To the filigree melody of this post's symmetry? I haven't written to myself on here in awhile, true. Here's the go down though, I did a self-portrait shoot to get my photo mojo going again and here's what happened, something not utterly crap! Canon 5D Mark II. And all of this was captured through my new 50mm f/1.4. Hot! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Careless Clit of the Mouth. Get Naked Get Star Trek.

Stories of Kaare's: Untitled Renderings of the Sub Continent
http://iverlog.blogspot.com/2011/08/untitled-renderings-of-sub-continent.html
Backlogs and new blogs. Sunday, August 14, 2011. Untitled Renderings of the Sub Continent. I remember a place called Jinu Danda. Town like a nipple. On the lesser of two breasts. And the ballsweat sub-continent of India. It had behind it. Trails to 8000 metre peaks. Rivers that ran to towns. Cities, factories, and. Neck craned at the impossible angle. The dam was sudden. And drowned in reality. Where I had been. What had happened to Jinu Dando? That impossible point on an impossible bossom. You will like...

人生勉強: 鹿児島、さよなら。[Kagoshima, sayonara.]
http://jinseibenkyo.blogspot.com/2008/06/kagoshima-sayonara.html
Kagoshima, sayonara.]. I assume that this shall most likely be my last blog in Kagoshima for quite some time. I will catch a bus up to Fukuoka with Saeko and catch my plane to Thailand with a brief layover in Taiwan. I have been filling my time as of late with many goodbyes, new and old music, building up my party tolerance (for thailand), and wondering if I'll have everything packed up in time for my bus on Sunday. I had really forgotten how hard it is to say goodbye. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

It's been a hell of a long time since I've blogged. I'm currently in my hotel in Kanoya, and the internet is free. I've been taking advantage of it all week. I leave tomorrow, and if I don't write something on here, I'll regret it. Too much happens these days. Business makes time fly by.it's already October. I arrived June 13th. When I got here I wondered how long I could get away with under-age drinking, as my birthday seemed so far away. But you may as well tell me that it's only 2 weeks away. Where Ar...

Stories of Kaare's: May 2011
http://iverlog.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Backlogs and new blogs. Thursday, May 5, 2011. The Captain and I. The right cup of Earl Grey. Tannin with Ceylon histories. Swirls with overcast afternoons. In my Grandma's dining room. Where she dried her herbs. And little Spruce cones. Fell among her potato patches. Waiting to be collected and jarred. To be stored in the root cellar. Building below the black-currant hedges. The same cup of Earl Grey. Sliding like a drunken sailor. Across the mess table. Of my father's trawler. Outside: gear is spooling.

A Rose Has Teeth: December 2008
http://followtheelephant.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 28, 2008. Donshankou, Guangzhou。 You are sitting in the hot pot restaurant, a 3-walled kitchen with low, rickety tables and plastic dollar store stools. It is raining. You can hear the man at the table beside you smacking his lips and sniffing back his la jiao-induced snot. There are also many voices from out on the street. A child shouting, the squeak of brakes from a bicycle. Rain drops hitting a tin roof. This is one of your favourite sounds. It is not desolate here. A Rose Has Teeth.

As it is available. She reads Vonnegut after running out of cigarettes. She must not have known me to be a writer. What a title! I'm sure she must know that I would never claim such a title, and especially never say such to her. She may speak of Ulysses or Grendel, of which only a small portion I know. She knows this. I've seen her looking, thinking, analyzing. I so hope she does not take this night as evidence, but she must. Where do I go from here? One day (I'll show you). From blocking your insights.

Mostly though, fuck Facebook. I have finally joined, my protest has ended, and I am ashamed of myself. I've fallen in with a bad e-crowd. There's always so much to blog about these days,. I find myself lost as soon as I hit the keyboard. I'll sum up some things in point form from the last month, because otherwise too many will become essays:. I've worn a Yukata (this one probably wouldn't be an essay). I've been to an underground Japanese punk-rock, rock, and hard-core show. I was rather spontaneously se...
