Saturday Build: Dying Fabric for the Trees! Stirring eight 33 foot long pieces of muslin in big tubs for almost two hours. into the woods: act two!

http://thewoodstheset.blogspot.com/2010/08/act-two.html

I'm keeping this blog to share my design work and process for the Fall Production of Into the Woods. At The Park School. Where I teach in the Visual Art Department. Tuesday, August 24, 2010. I should probably have posted these! The Woods Late Afternoon. In order to make them feel a little deeper the second act will feature hanging vines and be slightly darker. Having met with John, Peter, Eli, and Josh earlier today this seems possible. As does the shadow puppetry. The Woods, Midnight with fallen giant.

I'm keeping this blog to share my design work and process for the Fall Production of Into the Woods. At The Park School. Where I teach in the Visual Art Department. Tuesday, August 17, 2010. Mark Dion and Roxy Paine. But I didn't expect my vacation to also be re-energizing for my work on the set. While in Seattle I had the chance to go to the Olympic Sculpture Park. Most sculpture gardens leave me feeling a little underwhelmed (the BMA. For sure) Seattle's new (or new ish. Mark Dion uses the constructs o...

Christine Buckton Tillman: July 2010

http://christinebucktontillman.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html

Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Studio view: late july. I've been hard at work on an exciting work project. This month which has got me working outside of my comfort zone. That seems to have translated into my studio work. Here's some sneak peeks at what's going on in my studio this week. Thursday, July 8, 2010. I threw up a little shop update on the Fourth of July (note the patriotic color scheme). Red and lime ceramic bows AND smaller and more budget friendly. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Studio view: late july.

31 Days; My story. His story. Tuesday, 14 October 2014. Day 6, but not really. This is the sixth post in my 31 day writing challenge and I was seriously thinking of giving up. I mean it's the 14th of October and I'm already a week behind. What's the point, right? But in His Word, the Spirit says this about us. I'm going to choose to believe the love and the words of the Father of my heart. He says I can call him Abba! Which means Daddy. I can call on Him to help! In the psalms David writes. A gang of thug...

The most beautiful place(s) in the world. It is always hard to write the day after post and so I find it taking me a few weeks to wrap up St Lucia as we finished our latest adventure and stumbled home into a world white with snow and 40 degrees colder than the one we left a few weeks ago already. Travel hangover is a tough thing. But it’s good to be home really. Maybe I could get used to this. So the must dos of our experience are as follows:. Go to Soufriere and see the volcano but drive yourself or tak...
