The Woolly Mother: Spinning

http://thewoollymother.blogspot.com/p/spinning.html

To keep all Handspinning processes together, I have created a menu to enable easy access to each area. Menu for Hand Spinning Processes. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Hi and welcome to The Woolly Mother. Because I love spinning and being creative, the Woolly Mother evolved. It took time to get my blog organised, and even longer to get back to it because of work commitments. I have new projects in the mix and planning and will add them to my blog as I go. Brighten your day - with Flowers. Tour de Fleece 2013.

The Woolly Mother: Winter Warmer Handspun Scarf

http://thewoollymother.blogspot.com/2012/01/handspun-scarf-winter-warmers.html

Sunday, January 22, 2012. Winter Warmer Handspun Scarf. Brrrrrr. With the cooler weather in the northern hemisphere already set in, and starting to think about it in the southern climes, the time is nigh to set the wheels in motion for making sure that keeping warm this winter will be a comfortable affair, so knitting has commenced! The first 'knit off the block' is a handspun, scarf with the addition of colourful flecks to enhance that winter coat or sweater. Aaaah, that would be telling. Because I love...

The Woolly Mother: February 2011

http://thewoollymother.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html

Sunday, February 27, 2011. Nothing quite like Hand-Made. It's unique. And that goes for my new knitting bag, made for me by my daughter. Remember Mary Poppins bag, with the never-ending bottom? Meet bag number two. I could fit half a dozen projects into it, and then some. I have a feeling it might be wise to work on one at a time. She made the bag from scraps of fabric left around from other projects but it turned out fabulous. There are so many pockets I don't know if I can fill them all. So, not having...

The Woolly Mother: Reconnecting with 'The Wheel'

http://thewoollymother.blogspot.com/2012/12/oh-dear-i-didnt-realise-it-was-so-long.html

Friday, December 28, 2012. Reconnecting with 'The Wheel'. Oh dear, I didn't realise it was SO long since I have posted on my blog. I thought it was only a few months ago. ummm. Weeeell, it was only eleven of them. Oooops. Never mind, it has been go, go, go with work at Aurora House. Spinning English fleece is such a lovely change to the Australian fleeces - there is so much more choice. Considering I have boxes and boxes of fleece I've gathered over the last couple of years or so, its about time I go...

The Woolly Mother: September 2010

http://thewoollymother.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

Thursday, September 16, 2010. Anyone for Continental Knitting? It's definitely a learning curve. Using the wool in the wrong hand, holding the needles differently - its like driving on the wrong side of the road, in the wrong side of the car. Knitting a plain garter stitch scarf as well as the lacy one, so that will be a good opportunity to get in plenty of practice. Oh dear, I don't seem to have any excuses not to practice. Posted by Linda Lycett. Links to this post. Sunday, September 12, 2010. Oh dear&...

Clare Marion: July 2011

http://claremarion.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Saturday, 2 July 2011. The Nina - Messenger Bag. Hi folks I don't know about you but I am absolutely loving season 2 of the television show 'Offspring'! From the clothes and accessories to the quirky narrative of Nina . . . the poor confused Nina, it is just so much fun to watch. When I started compiling this mess bag yesterday afternoon, I had no idea what was going to come of it. I went into it without a plan and came out with something I love. It's just so . . . . well . . . Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Clare Marion: October 2010

http://claremarion.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

Friday, 29 October 2010. My favourite part of baking is in the tasting. Especially muffins…I have to cut one open while its still hot and smother both sides with delicious butter. Oh they are so good! This would have to be one of the quickest and easiest muffin recepies i've ever made. So I tbought I would share it with you all to have a go for yourself:. 2 Cups of Self-raising flour. 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar. 1 cup fresh or frozen berries. 1 egg lightly beaten. 1/2 cup vegetable oil. She has sh...

The Book Edit: Times they are A'changin'

http://thebookedit.blogspot.com/2015/05/times-they-are-achangin.html

Monday, May 18, 2015. Times they are A'changin'. Gone are the days when an author would write a book, submit it to a traditional publisher, then sit back and wait for the pennies to roll in. Times are definitely a'changin'! With the internet so freely available, promoting yourself has never been easier. If you are not internet savvy - learn! If you don't, someone else will so give yourself a flying chance by just getting out there and doing it. Posted by Linda Lycett. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Sunday, 3 April 2011. Sunday, lovely Sunday . . . Today was such a great day! Starting out with a turning back of the clocks last night for the end of daylight savings, I was given the gift of a little sleep in for my sunday morning. Ahhh bliss. Clare Marion: Flowers, cakes and a loving light

http://claremarion.blogspot.com/2012/01/flowers-cakes-and-loving-light.html

Saturday, 28 January 2012. Flowers, cakes and a loving light. What an industrious day it has been. From the time I woke this morning I have been moving from one project to another. I love it! Of tasty treats like iced cinnamon scrolls, choc chip muffins, honey and oat slice (drizzled with chocolate of course) and yummy pizza sausage pastries . . . which are REALLY good! Well, I had to sample them ;). And this was only a few. What do you think of that? To help Lisa and her kids get through this. Enlighten...

Cooking and crocheting … like a ninja. December 14, 2016. December 14, 2016. And her adventures with yarn. August 11, 2013. This odd looking creature – Mr Drippy – is a character in the video game Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch, one of my son’s favourite games.
