Fresh-baked blogging from the word bakery collective
weekdays: Saturday and Sunday | The Bakery
https://thewordbakery.wordpress.com/2013/05/19/weekdays-saturday-and-sunday/comment-page-1
Fresh-baked blogging from the word bakery collective. Weekdays: Saturday and Sunday. I have been doing assignments. Both days of this weekend can pretty much be shoved into a blender and labelled as the same continuous day; same kinds of thoughts, same kind of day, same things done and not-done. On the upside, however, I appear to have just-about, and badly, completed my church history essay on the most uninspiring topic ever. Nobody gets to breathe while reading my assignments. Nobody else in my class.

Fresh-baked blogging from the word bakery collective. Month: April, 2013. April 20, 2013. Dear Blog Roll bloggers. Welcome to The Word Bakery Collective. Sorry Val, plain “the bakery” was taken. “Collective” isn’t part of the official title but I put it in our tagline because we are indeed a collective, a word-baking collective. It’s nice and hippy. Te Aroha / Glow in the dark nailpolish / F. Weekdays: Saturday and Sunday. DAY SEVEN: And on the seventh day… we rested. On weekdays: Saturday and Su….

Fresh-baked blogging from the word bakery collective. It rained. I slept late and did absolutely nothing of value. I also read some Twilight fanfiction and, as expected, considering the average Twilight readership, found nothing particularly amazing. I pulled a lot of faces and thought. It’s really a question of self-discipline. I’ve learned that, I just need to exercise it. I. More self-discipline than this, even if some days this is not very evident. May 17, 2013. DAY FOUR: Seeking bad mentoring advice | The Bakery
https://thewordbakery.wordpress.com/2013/05/16/day-four-seeking-bad-mentoring-advice
Fresh-baked blogging from the word bakery collective. DAY FOUR: Seeking bad mentoring advice. Today Natalie, my littlest, sweetest, and most accommodating flatmate, listened for a minute to Cass and my discussion, then asked us in disbelief “Are you two arguing about the dictionary? 8221; (We were. Idly). Yesterday, she said “Are you kidding? 8221; to me in the tone that denotes “you cannot expect me to accept this”. May 16, 2013. 6 Comments to “DAY FOUR: Seeking bad mentoring advice”. Keep them up late.
Finding Neverland | The Bakery
https://thewordbakery.wordpress.com/2013/05/19/finding-neverland
Fresh-baked blogging from the word bakery collective. So, I kind of want to explore the line of thought I began in my previous post. However, I just watched Finding Neverland. And what a lovely movie that is. And so ends our 7-days of blogging challenge! This has been a good exercise; I feel like I’m in a much better state to blog than I was before. Goodnight! May 19, 2013. One Comment to “Finding Neverland”. May 23, 2013 at 4:55 am. Good night 🙂 Thanks for sharing this week. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Asymp; 1 Comment. I think that’s what they’re called. Four years of study has left me with a complete distaste for doing any research and I am not going to look them up. The Great Escape | Celebrating The Infraordinary
https://theinfraordinary.wordpress.com/2013/06/03/the-great-escape
Asymp; 2 Comments. I wouldn't raise my child in the city anyway. Out of the ordinary. This weekend, I escaped. I fled the city. I ran off, rejoicing. I went on holiday! In a whirl of excitement, I started to plan. To walk along a shore not hemmed with rail tracks and boulevards! To have grass around you and solitude! My Saturday schedule means I haven’t been able to leave the city, except to go home, since last year. I don’t even remember when. And reader, it was twenty-four hours of bliss. Beds rule the...

Winter is coming, and my head is absolutely, ever never ready for it. Asymp; Leave a comment. James K. Baxter. I write this sitting in the kitchen sink. I write this sitting on the windowsill of my flat, looking out over the road, the park, and across to the hills on the other side of the harbour. There’s snow on them. And there are no words to describe how excited I was yesterday to find that we were forecast for a dusting of snow overnight. There’s one upside to winter though, apart from the brea...

Suspender belts and happiness. Asymp; 3 Comments. When I feel down about myself, I wear suspender pants. Because sometimes I get slightly down about how I look. My hair’s too frizzed, my neck’s the size of a concrete bollard, my waist is expanding, ditto thighs and arse, and conversely, boobs too small! Woe, woe is me and my terrible monstrous body! It doesn’t deserve to go out in public. Don’t even mention my skin. Etc etc etc. Nothing to do with my looks. Focusing on looks full-damn-stop. Find the ridi...

This post is dedicated to Cassandra, who, contrary to namesake, is 100% believable. Asymp; 3 Comments. I hear you crying out for an explanation: “what is the infraordinary? TA, tell us! How kind of you to request an explanation from me, a brazen newcomer! And clever of you to know my name. What is ‘the infraordinary’? But never fear, fellow bloggers. There are scholarly underpinnings to our recorded musings. Isn’t that nice to know? Expect the totally expected. Next post →. May 24, 2013 at 11:47 am.
