Laquo; A Mother’s Work. An opportunity to connect with others. Proverbs 31 Woman – a presentation. I hope you enjoy this PowerPoint Presentation I’ve made of the Proverbs 31 Woman. It is a modern day interpretation of who she is, i.e. a business woman and a work at home mum. I would love to hear your thoughts about the presentation, either here or at Youtube. Laquo; Proverbs 31:25. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. Much of what the Proverbs 31 woman speaks about and gives guidance from, is based on past experience and the company she keeps. From there, she can speak with wisdom and give faithful instruction to those she has a responsibility for – her children, those entrusted to her care, younger women seeking guidance. Laquo; Proverbs 31:20. When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet. She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple. Do you find that? We have a wedding in the family coming up in a week’s time – our youngest daughter. And of course there’s been lots of planning involved in that. And there’s always the ‘fear’ that something will get forgotten! Thank goodness there are several of us involved in organising it, and not just one. Planning ...

Laquo; Posting comments. She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands. She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar. She gets up whilst it is still dark; she provides food for her family and portions for her servant girls. A lot to live up to! Heavenly Father, help me to be wise with what I choose for my family, with the hours I work in my home or out of home, and grant me the eagerness I need to carry out my duties as wife and mother in the way that You would desire for me. Laquo; Sad day, reflection on society? Meeting the needs of others. If you heard me on Vision Radio or the show 20Twenty. And came looking for the book and more information, you’ve come to the right place. I was delighted when Neil rang me and asked for an interview… two in fact! One about each book I’ve written and published: “Worth More Than Rubies: The Value of a Work at Home Mum”. And “It Happened By Design”. Which is about a series of real life God-incidences by 30 different authors. She did not do ...

Laquo; Meeting the needs of others. Women of Grace Conference. I had the privilege of speaking at the Women of Grace Conference this past weekend. What a lovely group of ladies. Laquo; Proverbs 31:29. Charm is deceptive, and beauty if fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Blessed is the man who seeks and marries a woman who understands Proverbs 31 and who seeks to be the best she can be. http://proverbs31-woman.com/2012/09/28/sad-day-reflection-on-society
Laquo; Mother’s Day not far away. Sad day, reflection on society? In the past couple of days it’s come to light that she was seen on the pavement by video cameras inside of shops with a man who was talking to her. This morning it was announced that a man had been arrested last night and her body found overnight. I think the whole city was really feeling this one. Why? Was it because of her being involved with the ABC and so there seemed to be more connection? Would Jill Meagher still be alive today?

Mother’s Day not far away. April 13th, 2012. Mother’s Day is coming round once again. Is this something you look forward to, or something you dread? Do you have a mother you look up to or resent? Do you have children who look up to you or, for some reason, dislike you? What does Mother’s Day mean to you? If you go to church, what kind of message would you like to hear shared on that special day? And how has the passage on the Proverbs 31 Woman spoken to you? I’d love to hear about it. March 5th, 2012.
