Jobu's Blog: Oil Bag should be standard equipment in every car!

http://joechublog.blogspot.com/2015/01/oil-bag-should-be-standard-equipment-in.html

An eclectic mix of articles devoted to the appreciation of quality in areas as diverse as cars, food, golf, wine, film, and books. Saturday, January 24, 2015. Oil Bag should be standard equipment in every car! I finally got around to getting one of these, $6.20 including tax at my local BMW dealer. I'm a BMW and Porsche Fanboy but I really didn't care which brand it was. The Bimmer bag is the best value, though! The bag looks like this, when filled with a standard quart bottle of oil: (front and back).

An eclectic mix of articles devoted to the appreciation of quality in areas as diverse as cars, food, golf, wine, film, and books. Monday, November 26, 2007. Free Range Heritage Turkey. We got our Thanksgiving turkey from the Plaid Piper Farm. In Sussex County, NJ. It was a huge hit! It was large (29lbs) as these hybrid heritage breeds tend to be. The flavor was amazing, particularly the breast meat: no pastey bland, dry breast meat here. Recommended. Will do it again every year. Friday, November 9, 2007.

An eclectic mix of articles devoted to the appreciation of quality in areas as diverse as cars, food, golf, wine, film, and books. Thursday, August 9, 2007. Best Fried Chicken Ever. Those of you who know about Korean Fried Chicken are lucky indeed. Boom Boom Chicken in Fort Lee, NJ and, apparently others, make the most irresistible, preconception-shattering, eye-opening chicken ever battered and dropped in hot oil. Off the Broiler. Has a good piece. Chow. Lists some more. Get some now! Calls it this way:.

An eclectic mix of articles devoted to the appreciation of quality in areas as diverse as cars, food, golf, wine, film, and books. Monday, June 16, 2008. First Impressions of the HF10. As usual, I dont' have much time for blogging, but I wanted to give a quick first impression of the HF10. It only saves to flash memory, and that's OK. It has internal memory and a SD card slot. I like being able to specify the SD card for photos, and using the 16 gig internal memory for videos. Accessories: An extra batte...

An eclectic mix of articles devoted to the appreciation of quality in areas as diverse as cars, food, golf, wine, film, and books. Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Now, I'm fully 1920 x 1080. Whew! It took awhile, but I'm finally there. 1920x1080. What does that mean? It means my Computer (incl. monitor), Plasma TV, Blu-ray disc and Video Camcorder are all what they call "Full HD.". How long has this taken? Well, I changed my mind. I bought the HF10 Why? In an earlier post I proclaimed that I would be buying the...

An eclectic mix of articles devoted to the appreciation of quality in areas as diverse as cars, food, golf, wine, film, and books. Friday, June 27, 2008. I just had a mind-blowing delicious Alsatian Riesling: 2005 Marc Kreydenweiss's Alsace Riesland from Wiebelberg. A "fresh style" riesling had complexity and balance with spice (nutmeg)/butterscoth and plesantly oily viscousness. The spicyness reminded me of the Tiffenbruner Feldmarshall Muller Thurgau from Alto Adige. Monday, June 16, 2008. Very small f...

An eclectic mix of articles devoted to the appreciation of quality in areas as diverse as cars, food, golf, wine, film, and books. Saturday, November 6, 2010. I read the article in this month's "Excellence" magazine on battery issues like some other folks seem to. It made me wary of replacing the battery myself, but many others on this forum seem to have had no problems replacing the battery. 4) This was a huge PITA! 5) I'm buying a trickle charger. Don't know which one yet. My cousin in Canada w...

An eclectic mix of articles devoted to the appreciation of quality in areas as diverse as cars, food, golf, wine, film, and books. Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Value wine of the month! Each white wine drinking season, I find a wild hit in the value category. It must be cheap and it must be great. Last year it was the Thirsty Lizard Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc. This year it just might be one of the whites from Indaba. I've only tried the Chard, but its pretty darn good, and not at all like generic Cali Chards.

The Working Fish | Backyard Food Growing on Florida's Sun Coast

Backyard Food Growing on Florida's Sun Coast. I always buy my seedlings too far in advance with the best of intentions, of course. On Friday I picked up nine Copenhagen market cabbage seedlings at Lowe’s. I was going to plant them immediately but. On Saturday I had to drive down to Pinellas Park so I picked up eight Packman broccoli seedlings at Willow Tree. I had plenty of time that afternoon. This entry was posted in Broccoli.
