Monday, February 28, 2011. There have been so many times recently that I have thought to myself that Morgan is just like me. My sister says it on a weekly basis anymore.'she's just like you." How could I ever get tired of hearing that. She's overly sensitive when it comes to animals. Just like me. We both cover our eyes or change the channel when the commercials with the wounded and neglected animals comes on. Too much for us to handle. We grab our fuzzy dogs and hug them immediately. Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Finally feel like i have let go of the. Fog that was keeping me blurred last week. My thoughts started to clear and refocus themselves. I can't be grateful enough for the clarity. Today was wonderfully gray. The skies have been full of rain and have just started letting it go for us. I can't think of a better time to wash the last week away. Throughout my day of errands and housework. I did a lot of thinking. Thinking about what would make me feel better. Do a little reading.

So a few weeks ago, we celebrated landon's 7th. and by postponing the celebration here on this little blog.maybe that was my way of not accepting that the boy is really 7. seven. all of his bits and pieces including that great big heart of his are indeed seven. how is it that my smallest is this big? Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Just please slow down. When I was in the kitchen making dinner last night, Landon asked if he could read to me. He dragged to the kitchen his little yellow chair and settled right in front of the fridge. He brought with him exactly 1 library book and 2 unlaced shoes on 2 big feet. I asked him when his feet got so big.he just laughed and opened his book. I am amazed {even after 2 kids already through the first grade} that kids can read this early. He is completely connected to me.
