When all else fails, change your mind. Rhys is really struggling with his 'R's' at the minute. Whilst out with his daddy, they passed a girl drawing on the road with chalks. I backed the entire area of the t-shirt with interfacing, to stiffen it up and stop it stretching, and then used an embroidery hoop to keep everything nice and taut. It worked a treat. Since I'm back blogging again, I might as well update on what I have actually gotten done over the last few months. The longies, of which I'd only done the waistband last time I posted eventually got finished in January. I really love how they colours pooled differently in the different sections. The black felt and the ones behind it haven't yet been felted, the orange, red and purple have. There's a huge difference. Hopefully they should be safe enough to use on clothing now though. I'm so chuffed with how she turned out! She's survived a 30 degree wash in my machine, just to make sure the colours don't run. She's currently back in the machine on a 40 degree wash (eek), I hope she makes it.
