Little Lucy's Lecture: Welcome
http://littlelucyslecture.blogspot.com/2011/05/welcome.html
I have created this blog so I can voice my thoughts about learning styles in education. The World According to Lucy". Thursday, May 19, 2011. Welcome to Little Lucy's Lecture. Too bad about learning styles, if a student doesn't learn what is being taught, it is their own fault.". This is a strong statement and certainly on one side of the fence when it comes to evaluating the student's learning. I would like to discuss and debate both sides with my blog. Whoadid I just write this? I dare to say yes!

Blog created for my Adult Education class where I am to post my thoughts and reviews of my learnings about learning styles and the like. Friday, July 22, 2011. Comparing my teaching experiences to the adventure of white-water rafting is fun to envision. I am here today as a testament to the resolve and muddling through the experience; I came through the rough times, alive and well seasoned to the course not only behind me, but ahead of me as well. This was not nearly as easy as it sounded. There was resi...

You need to provide the most balanced education you can. This means to mix up your delivery to cover the biggest parts possible. Ok, here I...

Little Lucy's Lecture: July 2011
http://littlelucyslecture.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
I have created this blog so I can voice my thoughts about learning styles in education. The World According to Lucy". Tuesday, July 19, 2011. What do white-water rafting and teaching have in common? Not much was my first thought but after I read through Chapter 1 of our textbook I began to see the connection. As Snoopy and Woodstock's eyes in the YouTube video show us we don't see everything that is in front of us, around us, or behind us and then BOOM! The girls must go back and save them. It is similar...

Are Learning Styles Over Analyzed?: A Touching Teacher Story
http://arelearningstylesovercomplicated.blogspot.com/2011/06/touching-teacher-story.html
Are Learning Styles Over Analyzed? Friday, June 24, 2011. A Touching Teacher Story. Some thing that I thought I should pass on. Her name was Mrs. Thompson. But that was impossible, because there in the front row, slumped in his seat, was a little boy named Teddy Stoddard. By now, Mrs. Thompson realized the ...
