OUR FOREVER FAMILY BLOG HOME IS WHERE THEY LOVE YOU. Sunday, November 29, 2009. Our main dinner was at Steve's parents this year. We ate well! I was able to snap a few pictures of the cousins playing (Brian, Jesse and Myah). Afterwards, we headed to Springfield for some family time with my family and some much needed shopping. Friday, March 12, 2010. Our Tae Kwon Do Princess. Our sweet little princess is getting tough! And, it is a good thing! Ella started Tae Kwon Do last week and is thoroughly enjoying it. It helps that 2 of her cousins are taking it too. Ella is super proud of her newly earned white belt. Theo loves watching the kids and I am thrilled that we are all learning some Korean words! We hope Ella's interest continues to grow because she is gaining confidence in her new moves! Way to go Ella! Were so proud of you!

Tuesday, April 6, 2010. We headed back home for a quick rest and by 2pm we were at Grandma Judy and Grandpa Lary's. It was a gorgeous day and we all got lots of fresh air. Judy sent the kids out on her annual egg scavenger hunt around the Millstadt farm. All 15 kids returned to a lawn full of more eggs! Theo and Ella were on a full-speed collecting spree! Friday, June 25, 2010. The summer is off to a busy start. Our new store (on our Belleville farm) opens on July 6th. We are down to the last week of prep and nerves and excitement are skyrocketing among us! Needless to say, it is headlining our summer. Thursday, August 12, 2010. End of Summer Break. Today was my last day off with the kids before school starts. Ella starts in 6 days. Monday, April 26, 2010. Yellow Belts and Blue Tongues. It was a monumental week in the Tae Kwon Do arena. Ella tested for her yellow belt. This was her first belt test since starting Tae Kwon Do about 7 weeks ago. She replicated the “move” sequence as directed. Then she broke her first board with her bare hand and a very loud “high yah! I was amazed to the point of tears! Cousins Sophia and Joe also got their yellow belts as well as our friends Julia and Sophia. What a big deal! May 15, 2010 at 3:55 PM.

Tuesday, April 6, 2010. Tonite we celebrated our 5th Gotcha Day with Ella and our 2nd Gotcha Day with Theo! It is flabergasting how fast the time goes . . . Our actual gotcha day was on Easter but Easter trumped all! So tonite we asked Grandpa Ron to take our family photo - as has been our tradition for the past years on the living room couch. Growing kids take more space :). Happy Gotcha Day Ella and Theo. We are so lucky to have adopted you both on the same day! We will love you forever!
