Around the Kitchen Table: April 2011
http://laurensschoolroom.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Around the Kitchen Table. Some of my fondest homeschool memories have happened around my kitchen table. In the early years of homeschooling, the memories included other homeschool moms visiting while our children played. Those times of sharing and support kept me going while I homeschooled four young children. Today, we "do school" around the same kitchen table and each day we are adding new memories. Grace Filled Living: January 2012
http://trustinghishand.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 9, 2012. We're finishing our school work for the day, and I find myself giddy! We only let our books rest till the New Year before picking up where we'd left off. I did manage to cram in some 2nd semester planning between Christmas and New Year's, and while I wish I'd had more, we needed to get busy. So the reason I'm giddy is not because everything is perfect in our school day. Far from it! It's just that we are doing some new things that we love, love, LOVE! And Can I Really Know Him?

The Westie Crew: November 2010
http://thewestiecrew.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 10, 2010. Review for The Write Foundation. About a month ago, we received The Write Foundation's Level 1: Sentence to Paragraph Writing. In exchange for my honest review. So, on that note, I must say that we never did receive all of the parts of this curriculum. Initially, there was a problem with the company's printer and then with the shipments, so many things came to the TOS reviewers that were unable to be used. I am sad that I can't be more thorough with this review because I rea...

Oak Creek Farmhouse: November 2010
http://oak-creek-farmhouse.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
TOS Reviews and Musings. Wednesday, November 10, 2010. Most of the curriculum that comes past me is either written to be used in a home school or in a formal classroom. The Write Foundation's curriculum takes a new direction, as it was originally designed for a once a week co-op. Has three levels in their heavily Christian based curriculum. Level 1: Sentence to Paragraph Writing for ages 11-13. Level 2: Paragraph Writing for ages 12-15. Level 3: Essay Writing for ages 14-17. In the spiral teacher's book,...

Oak Creek Farmhouse: The Write Foundation Lessons 16-30
http://oak-creek-farmhouse.blogspot.com/2011/04/write-foundation-lessons-16-30.html
TOS Reviews and Musings. Saturday, April 9, 2011. The Write Foundation Lessons 16-30. I was given The Write Foundation's. Essay Writing Lesson 1-15 to review. For TOS. The author, Rebecca Celsor, then offered the second half of the curriculum, Lessons 16-30, for use and review. She completed a major edit of her curriculum and was eager to share the changes. While this is still a Christian-based program, it no longer hits you over the head in religious rhetoric, and for that I am truly grateful. The e...
