Crazy stars | Live. Grow. Nourish. Create.
https://livegrownourishcreate.wordpress.com/2015/08/03/crazy-stars
Live Grow. Nourish. Create. I’ve only sewn one more star, but I have turned all four stars into hexagons with the addition of background diamonds:. I love each of these star-in-a-hexagon blocks. Together, though, I’m not so sure. Are they going to be just toooo crazy? I feel they might need spacing with something easier on the eye. I think the options are:. 1 Intersperse with neutral coloured shapes eg hexagons or triangles. 2 Make the stars as I am doing but do half with neutral (white or pale pink?

Monday Morning Star Count | Live. Grow. Nourish. Create.
https://livegrownourishcreate.wordpress.com/2015/08/10/monday-morning-star-count
Live Grow. Nourish. Create. Monday Morning Star Count. I have made three more hexagon stars this week:. Which brings the total number to seven:. Now that I have more of a mixture of values and colours, I’m not so sure if I will need any neutral hexagons or triangles to break it up after all. I am liking the way they play together now🙂. Fickle, aren’t I? Linking up to Monday Morning Star Count. Over at Life Under Quilts. Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window). Click to email (Opens in new window).

mama elsie : making it up as i go along: mama rhymes
http://mamaelsie23.blogspot.com/p/mama-scripts.html
Mama elsie : making it up as i go along. Mayhem and memories in this london life. Who is mama elsie? Mama in my 40s. Poetry's a strange thing isn't it? Long and winding verses thrust upon us in stuffy classrooms to powerfully verbal moments of magic that are able to resonate with the minutiae of life, love and everything little thing in between. I have loved and loathed poetry equally in my lifetime. But that's the thing about poetry - it is simply not one. Sailing through sorry seas. So I turn back.

http://ofbooks.org/2015/03/28/daunt-books-festival-day-2-part-2
A chronicle of literary addiction. Daunt Books Festival: Day 2 [part 2]. 28 March, 2015. 28 March, 2015. You may have noticed – from my inclusion of Instagram and Twitter – that there were musical interludes my day. Not only were the musicians (extremely) talented and entertaining, it was just what I needed to break from concentration and note-taking. I read my book(s) as the music played, it was like being in a cosy living room or (as is my dream) a personal library. Series. His most recent novel is.

The Writes of Man
The Writes of Man. Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. I began to wander the halls looking for a sign to direct me to the fingerprinting department. After 20 minutes I began to pray for a sign from God or anyone for that matter. It wasn't that there weren't any signs. There were so many I couldn't fathom having time to read them all. I began to panic. What if they closed the place while I was still reading a sign? Would anyone rescue me? You're back," one of the guards commented. It wasn't Yen I...

the writes of passage | a writer's journey down the rabbit hole
The writes of passage. A writer's journey down the rabbit hole. 2017, here we go. So we’ve left 2016 behind at last. Not a minute too soon, methinks. I remember how hopeful and excited I was to make 2016 a year I could look back on and be proud of how much I had accomplished. How 2016 was going to be different. Amazing, despite the changes that had already happened in 2015. I had a novel I was working on! I had just gotten promoted at work! I was making more writer friends! To us, and the world we. 2 I m...

eric & ali + penny
Eric and ali penny. I made a new blog and won't be posted on this one anymore. I don't have much to write about other than the fact that it seems like recently I've felt very blessed. It's fitting that it's November; the month of gratitude. I am still listening and re-listening to General Conference and we just had our stake conference this weekend. It was just what I needed. It always is because questions are always answered and guidance is always given. My parents are amazing. I love that serving a mis...
