Tags: a new mothers thoughts. Love for my child. Waiting on a taxi. Wating for my child. I hear a word, a phrase, I catch a glimpse of an image and I’m caught quietly in a place that reminds me of you. Seconds that turn into hours I sit and think of you. I count the distance between moments that tear me away from obsessing over you and I can’t wait until I’m back there again. For now, all I have is what feels like a lifetime to prepare for you to get here. To grow here. For now, all I can do is wait.
