Paperbutter & The Burger – Bangkok, Thailand. August 13, 2015. Our first burger adventure in Thailand and it was a doozy! On a small side street near our Airbnb lay a container bar/restaurant named Paperbutter and The Burger. Rated very highly on Tripadvisor, their Facebook page, and other internet sights, I thought we’d better check it out since it was a 5 minute walk from our place and we are sure glad that we did! I loved the decor of the area, very simple with cute, quirky touches. You can leave litt...

ALL OVER THE WORLD. Bangkok with Hang and co. Reviewed by Sin Yuen. Bangkok with Hang and co. I am writing this post when I already missing him so much #whatistheproblemwithme. Today marks the f. We didn't do much as we only have 3 and half days over there. Furthermore, Bangkok is different from Japan, I don't have many pretty photos, so it gonna be short post. First of all, introducing our hotel: The Yard Hostel. I think I look cool like this. So if you have to quote, quote around 350 Baht including toll.

Blind Trip / Bangkok to Penang | Theyardbangkok
https://theyardbangkok.wordpress.com/2015/10/17/blind-trip-bangkok-to-penang
Blind Trip / Bangkok to Penang. An upper berth train ticket dated 22nd July for one person, from Bangkok to Butterworth. Destination of this trip is not the matter. I paid 1,100 Baht to buy 24 hours on a train to spend time with myself on my 37th birthday. My first intention was to depart on 21st July but the train was fully booked, the plan was then unfortunately changed. For one, ‘soon’ might be a day. For some, it might be two. While for others, it might last for months. It may not be a ‘coincidence’.

ROAD TRIP / CHIANGMAI / PAI | Theyardbangkok
https://theyardbangkok.wordpress.com/2015/08/06/road-trip-chiangmai-pai
ROAD TRIP / CHIANGMAI / PAI. One night, I’m sitting there with half a bottle of Sang Som, ice and slices of lime. The more interesting the conversations became, the less Sang Som was left in the bottle. I had no idea what kind of special occasion the night was,. But a number of our previous guests had returned to the Yard and met each other again. Colm’, an Irish guy, dropped by at The Yard. He just wanted to say goodbye before heading Chiang Mai, which was his plan. Because driving was all I had to do.
