The Brown Bytes: Why we do what we do for men!
http://thebrownbytes.blogspot.com/2015/06/why-we-do-what-we-do-for-men.html
Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Why we do what we do for men! All that to say this, "every single meeting, conversation, letter, phone call, text, email, rolling of the eyes, criticism, list, accusation, and much more" was and is worth it! Jesus longs to see men lead their families in a tender way and shamelessly chase after him. And when a man does that the family, the community, the world is changed for the better! Yes we had man games. Yes we had relentless effort. Yes we crowned a winner. Posted by Jim Brown.

The Brown Bytes: Out of the Ashes of Isis
http://thebrownbytes.blogspot.com/2015/02/out-of-ashes-of-isis.html
Tuesday, February 3, 2015. Out of the Ashes of Isis. But we knew God wanted us to go! Out of that prompting by the Spirit a team of 8 mighty men who decided to go in first, knowing full well the potential cost. Our wives and families stood in support and bravely held down the home front. I will never forget the night we rolled out of Goshen with tears streaming down our faces realizing the risk at hand. Fast forward to today. We were able to purchase beds, cabinets, blankets, heaters and mattresses to ge...

The Brown Bytes: Whatever happened to hard work
http://thebrownbytes.blogspot.com/2015/07/whatever-happened-to-hard-work.html
Thursday, July 9, 2015. Whatever happened to hard work. I am concerned by the subtle shift I see in our Culture. The shift of not wanting to work hard. The notion that hard work is something that we should work hard to work away from. And even more disconcerting to me is that it is spilling over into our walks as Christ Followers. Have we swung to the other end of spectrum and become more influenced by our culture than the Words of the LORD? May I never be the man who does not daily work out his salvatio...

The Brown Bytes: My daughter captured it in one sentence
http://thebrownbytes.blogspot.com/2015/06/my-daughter-captured-it-in-one-sentence.html
Thursday, June 4, 2015. My daughter captured it in one sentence. Love keeps no records of wrongs. I have read that 100's of times and even used it in sermons, weddings, and counseling sessions. It is the crux of a healthy relationship. My daughter said something to me on Sunday while we were debriefing the Message that I had preached that Sunday morning. Yes pastors do discuss the sermon too, we just don't roast the pastor :). Imagine if you can if we began to do the same with those that we love. Ima...

Boucher's Blog: December 2011
http://bouchersblog.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 31, 2011. Where do I start in talking about 2011? LOTS to "unwrap" here.LOTS happened. I started this blog a few days ago.decided I just didn't like it! I'm also quite grateful that the very week that the decision was made to close our church (and put me out of a job) that our school system offered me a full time position. WHO GETS THAT? God was soooo good to us.to give us $ and insurance while many struggle to find a job. AND to have a job that I enjoy.I'm grateful. The bottom line...

Boucher's Blog: His Strength is Perfect
http://bouchersblog.blogspot.com/2014/11/his-strength-is-perfect.html
Monday, November 24, 2014. His Strength is Perfect. I remember this song so well.Steven Curtis Chapman. "His Strength is Perfect, when our strength is gone.he'll carry us when we can't carry on." Sang that song COUNTLESS times in High School. I was reminded of it this morning as I started a devo on marriage. The verses I read were all on God's faithfulness and his ability to make the impossible, possible. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Perry Noble dot com.

Trent's Blog: October 2009
http://trentsblogspace.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Allison had three BB's inserted into head this morning. I got to talk to her and she sounded a little tired, but overall pretty good. She said that the spots where they were put in are pretty sore. She's in for another CT scan right now and then they get to head home. We have been getting so many prayers and encouraging words from so many people. We thank you and ask that you keep the prayers coming as a first step toward radiation treatments is made. Boucher's Blog: March 2012
http://bouchersblog.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 17, 2012. Manning Tebow = Super Bowl Ring. Alright.STAY WITH ME ON THIS ONE. Is an AMAZING leader and VERY SMART and talented athlete. Manning is one of the best QB's. EVER and even at his "diminishing state" is still a better QB than most every QB in the league. So here is my thought.first.Denver is a GREAT PLACE for Peyton to play.actually.I mentioned on Facebook. I ALSO BELIEVE that because of Tebow. Peyton can focus on his health and getting back to peak performance and let Tebow.
