marthateresa: Vacation part II (of probably III)
http://martha-teresa.blogspot.com/2014/01/vacation-part-ii-of-probably-iii.html
Just a girl. blogging about her husband, dog, and adventures in the way too far north. Wednesday, January 8, 2014. Vacation part II (of probably III). We left off our story with adam not dying on the precipitous descent from above Banos, Ecuador. Total small world syndrome. It was quite the adventure floating down the river, watching people bathe and pan for gold along the edge with rock walls covered in orchids lining the edge of the river. From those walls, our safety kayaker, Diego, plucked th...We th...

Thoughts Inspired: hammock and juice
http://sahbarohani.blogspot.com/2012/12/hammock-and-juice.html
From the most important to the mundane, I have attempted to use words to describe my experiences, thoughts, and emotions. It is simply my journey. One that I welcome you to join. Sunday, December 9, 2012. Dad put up the hammock yesterday. The one they bought in Peru. I'm pretty sure my sister, niece, and I wore the other one out on our last visit. When I had energy - when I jumped and laughed and moved about. And I fall asleep. Please tell me that you are in chile, tell me, go ahead. tell me! Feel free t...

Thoughts Inspired: i miss her.
http://sahbarohani.blogspot.com/2012/08/i-miss-her.html
From the most important to the mundane, I have attempted to use words to describe my experiences, thoughts, and emotions. It is simply my journey. One that I welcome you to join. Saturday, August 4, 2012. Sitting in front of me today was a young girl - maybe in her mid-twenties - situated next to her grandmother with her arm resting easily around her grandmother's shoulder. And I realized tonight how much I miss accessing that goodness. How she was a regenerating force for me. She replenished my ...

marthateresa: a confession.
http://martha-teresa.blogspot.com/2015/04/a-confession.html
Just a girl. blogging about her husband, dog, and adventures in the way too far north. Wednesday, April 22, 2015. I used to write prolifically. here, in the poetry journal, in my head in the car, in the shower- no matter. there was this constant stream of inner dialogue that seemed to have its own built in subwoofer- loud and heavy. the beat of the words drove the way i structured my days, the way i thought about people and places. April 22, 2015 at 6:56 PM. April 23, 2015 at 9:01 AM. Wear it another day.

marthateresa: January 2014
http://martha-teresa.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Just a girl. blogging about her husband, dog, and adventures in the way too far north. Tuesday, January 14, 2014. I promise you things and then i don't provide. It's a fatal flaw. For example, i promised you this blog about new year antics in ecuador last week and it just didn't happen. sorry. But, here it is, as the snow falls and a lone raven surfs the winds outside my completely bleary, basically dark window at 430pm. sorry, nora, needed a brain break.going back to work soon! 1 The old year has widows.

marthateresa: on resolving no more resolutions
http://martha-teresa.blogspot.com/2015/01/on-resolving-no-more-resolutions.html
Just a girl. blogging about her husband, dog, and adventures in the way too far north. Monday, January 5, 2015. On resolving no more resolutions. For Christmas we got a new thermostat, you know, one of the ones that has the receiver you place outside and then you can see what the temperature is from the climate controlled enclave of your kitchen. So not like the last three hours when the fog came back and it is has been gloomy and doomy outside. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Thoughts Inspired: Luigi the Magician from Italy
http://sahbarohani.blogspot.com/2012/08/luigi-magician-from-italy.html
From the most important to the mundane, I have attempted to use words to describe my experiences, thoughts, and emotions. It is simply my journey. One that I welcome you to join. Friday, August 3, 2012. Luigi the Magician from Italy. Today I met Luigi from Italy who just happens to be a magician. He barely speaks English and I know no Italian, and surprisingly, we could manage some semblance of a conversation. It's been a really humbling few days. Kind. And humbling. And I feel more human.

Tuesday, July 30, 2013. I'm proud of myself for this summer. Because it shows that I am listening to my heart and taking care of my body and nourishing my soul. I feel lucky for this time. I know many don't have it and I am thankful for it. It gives me the energy to do what I love doing every day. A little boy named Artin.

Thoughts Inspired: coffin underground
http://sahbarohani.blogspot.com/2013/08/coffin-underground.html
From the most important to the mundane, I have attempted to use words to describe my experiences, thoughts, and emotions. It is simply my journey. One that I welcome you to join. Sunday, August 18, 2013. I live in a small coffin underground. Is what I tell everyone. Because my apartment is the size of a small hotel room. And there is no such thing. There is a foot of counter space. And if two things are left on the ground. It looks a mess. My sink is made for gnomes. But I love my coffin underground.
