The epitome of cool AND dorky all at the same time! Tuesday, March 24, 2009. How tired are you? This is how tired I am. I was just reading a new release I wrote and came across the word typed "is". I sat there for what seemed like 5 minutes trying to figure out what I had been trying to say and why on earth I'd use the word (if it even IS a word) I's.and why I didn't capitalize the I in the word. Then it finally dawned on me.it was simply the word "is". ha Wow.need more sleep. Tuesday, March 24, 2009.

I had every intention of posting more regularly but well, intentions and inclination apparently do not always see eye-to-eye. Now I have some catching up to do. I will start with some pictures of the field trips on which we have gone and give you the added bonus of a history lesson while I am at it. Now that we live here we can take even more advantage of the history jackpot. A Pittsburgh street with streetlights on at noon.

Saturday, May 05, 2012. Summer haircut for the boy. I'm always amazed at how much hair this kid has! I think I could have made a couple of wigs with the pile of hair on the floor. It was nice to be able to do it out on my parent's deck in the cool of the morning (where the mess wasn't such a big deal). Nice - but then again I am bias when it comes to guys who have hair! Tell him Uncle Charlie said he looks very handsome! Love the new cut! Glad to see your posts and see you guys are all doing well!

Monday, March 19, 2012. A New Season for the Rathbun Family. Spring has sprung a little early here in the Northeast but it's not just the great outdoors that is changing.After living in Connecticut for 12 years, we are moving. Today Luke gave his official resignation and in about three weeks we will pack up all of our earthly belongings into a moving truck and head "south". Saturday, October 23, 2010. She's Never Serious for Long. I was just messing around with my camera having fun the other night. The kids and Luke enjoy carving pumpkins together and this year they decided to do it a little differently. Instead of your run-of-the-mill jack-o-lantern, they chose templates. Thursday, February 01, 2007. Januea – Pledge Class 1995. Dayspring. I could not ask for a better team of SLP’s, OT’s, PT’s, Early Childhood Educators and bosses to work for. We are a rather small company (our department consists of only 17 people) who provide in home services for children birth to 3 years old. Although I miss all my family and friends back in Kansas, my move to Denver has been great for me! I am looking forward to catching up with other AGD’s so keep them coming ladies!

As I sit here contemplating the holiday, I know that I truly do still have a ton to be thankful for. I have a home over my head, family and friends that love me (or pretend very well), the cutest nephew (and adopted nephews) on the planet, 2 adorable and brilliant dogs, a kickbutt hot tub, and many other joys to help occupy my empty days.
