For the first time ever, i used my cucs from the farm for something other than cucumber and onion salad. and MAN am i stoked about the results. i used a recipe out of Nourishing Traditions, where there are tons of recipes for fermented veggies. The jars are full of cucumbers, whey (what makes them a probiotic food) and dill, garlic, onion, mustard seed, jalapenos, salt and water. really, so easy! Farts while she's sleeping. Nuria is 3 months old now. she's the coolest thing in my life. i see now why people have 17 of these things. I want a goat in my backyard. And she will not allow me to eat cheese. or yogurt. these are all cows milk products, obviously. BUT i have discovered, to my delight that i can drink goats milk. i get it fresh from a friend here in town and it is absolutely, beyond the shadow of a doubt the most yummy thing i have put in my mouth since i had her. Jeremy and i made shakes lastnight. recipe below:. 25 ounces fresh goat milk. 1/2 c peanut butter. 4 tbsp cocoa powder, dutch process. 1 big dollup of honey.
