Being conscious to it doesn’t always help. Sometimes I believe that voice that resides in my head that is constantly talking in my ear. Sometimes I believe what that voice is telling me is real. Then I remember that I get to choose what is real. Sitting outside in the fresh air of the city, in friendship was so healing and inspiring to me.
