The Yellow Brick Road Trip: World Coffee - New York City, NY

http://theyellowbrickroadtrip.blogspot.com/2011/07/world-coffee-new-york-city-ny.html

July 19, 2011. World Coffee - New York City, NY. Despite the stale pastries and the steep price for coffee, World Coffee became my regular stop for caffiene in New York. If you are staying on the Upper West Side, then World Coffee is definitely a great place to make your coffee shop. Posted by Kris the Educated Vagabond. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Yellow Brick Road Trip: Strand Book Store - New York City, NY

http://theyellowbrickroadtrip.blogspot.com/2011/07/strand-book-store-new-york-city-ny.html

July 12, 2011. Strand Book Store - New York City, NY. Strand is not just a wonderful place to spend an afternoon wandering the stacks, it also offers full services for bibilophiles. Want a personal library? Strand is my favorite place to be in New York, so it was worth the hellish journey to get there. There is something amazing about being surrounded by that many great books, something comforting and relaxing. If I only had one day in New York, this is where I would spend it. April 27, 2011. CW Porubsky’s Deli - Topeka, KS. In the part of Topeka known as "Little Russia" there is a locally famous deli and specialty grocery store called C.W. Porubsky’s Deli and Tavern. Their chili, hot pickles, and cold cuts have been nationally and internationally recognized but in Topeka they are down-right legendary. Personally, I don't tend to eat a lot of pickles (unlike some celebrities. To learn more about the documentary, which is also available for purchase. On Wanderlust and Lipstick.

On the Road to All 50: May 2013

http://www.ontheroadtoall50.com/2013_05_01_archive.html

Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Before seeing a Food Network show that featured butter burgers, I had no idea that such a thing existed. The thought of a slab of butter melting over a hot burger made my mouth water so much that I vowed as soon as I found myself in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I would sample this deliciousness. And sample them I did. After doing a fair amount of research on where to find the best butter burger, we decided to give Solly’s Grille. If you find yourself in M. Solly’s is located at. On the Road to All 50: The Long and Non-Winding Road between Mitchell and Wall

Tuesday, January 21, 2014. The Long and Non-Winding Road between Mitchell and Wall. There is no way that I can make the three hour drive between Mitchell and Wall sound exciting. COWS…yay! Nope, can’t do it. Impossible. During the ride, we saw lots and lots of wide open spaces which in reality, are quite breathtaking. It would be hard to imagine this much untouched land back in New York. Developers would have a field day with it. Fields full of sunflowers disappeared as quickly as they appeared. Didn't a...

On the Road to All 50: October 2012

http://www.ontheroadtoall50.com/2012_10_01_archive.html

Thursday, October 18, 2012. Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio? I know, I know. It's been a long time since I have posted on my little blog. But the past few weeks have been a bit insane, to say the least. My husband and I recently moved into a new apartment and between weddings, birthdays, furniture shopping and football season, we haven't had much time to ourselves! To put things into perspective - we traveled to Milwaukee at the end of August and I have yet to upload my photos. Lazy blogger.

Entre los escombros de la derruída Ciudad Esmeralda se oyen, entretejidos con la esencia de las Baldosas Amarillas, los lamentos de los que perecieron en su defensa, cubriendo al Mago en su retirada cobarde.
