https://solsticeletters.wordpress.com/the-story
In nature, solstice occurs twice each year, heralding the longest and shortest of days. The first lures us outside to fireflies and cricket serenades. The second chases us back in, to fireside fairy tales and mugs of warmth. These letters are not sermons or sentiments. While there are vast numbers who doubt the existence of God, I believe there are countless more who simply doubt His goodness. Many days. 1 John 1:5,. Letters to Malcom, Chiefly on Prayer. In the early morning light, I sit. Her words. Tapped out across miles and space, hours before, stare at me framed in pitch. Bit by bit, I take them in. Savouring. Lingering. Once through, and then again. I swallow hard. Blink back salt. Whisper thanks. On this day, in these tasks, I will worship. From → gina: bright and blithe. Larr; let everything happen. Putting the Pieces Together: a brief synopsis
http://kateunraveled.blogspot.com/p/brief-synopsis.html
Putting the Pieces Together. I am a twenty-something girl trying to put the pieces of my life together and learn how to live for God. I love painting, knitting, gardening, cooking, building, and I hope to learn something about glass-melting or metal sculpture someday soon. This blog is about nothing, but it's a good way to keep in touch with good friends. Enjoy my (mostly angry) blogging. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sweet Blogs (and People). The Yellow Door Paperie. The Adventures of My Life: Hope For Steve
http://adventurasdemivida.blogspot.com/2011/10/hope-for-steve.html
The Adventures of My Life. Monday, October 3, 2011. This month, I am doing a special fundraiser for some friends of mine. Getting top-notch treatment, however, comes at a high cost. My goal this month is to bless Steve and Dana by helping them to off-set some of the cost of travel, lodging, and treatment during their stay in Houston. I am donating 10% of all Thirty-One orders placed with me this month to the Bazes. Start thinking of Christmas, birthday, anniversary, just-because gifts, etc. I just have t...

Happiness . . . is a warm puppy. Coco came into our lives saturday, oct 16. ben's parents were visiting when ben's mom looked out the window. who was that little puppy playing with our neighbors dogs? Where were her sisters and brothers? We'll never know. but i am convinced God gave us this dog. and i am so thankful for her. Reactions to coco have been crazy! A woman i met while waiting at the vet seriously choked up when she learned we had rescued coco—she was so thankful a lost puppy had found a ...

http://thisisveryimportant.blogspot.com/2011/04/hanging-of-palms.html
The hanging of the palms. Last year, i saved the fronds from palm sunday. hung them in our crucifix in our old home. which you can see here. It was sort of a continuation of a tradition i remember my parents doing. except theirs was a frond woven into a cross. and my mom or my dad tucked it behind the crucifix leading into our home. and there it hung. and dried. for as long as i can remember.
