http://kaylachivers.blogspot.com/2013/03/mila-1st-month.html
Thursday, March 28, 2013. Hormones are such a crazy thing. She had so many visitors and she has so many people in her life who love her and we have been blessed by them in so many ways! Here are a few things about Mila's first month:. Even though she came early, she was ready to be here! She caught on to things quickly and is so perfect. She was so skinny and had long skinny legs, arms, hands and feet. Here are a few pics from Mila's first month:. This is the first smile I got on camera! We attempted to ...

Doug & Charisse (and Benjamin): May 2013
http://dougandcharisse.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Doug and Charisse (and Benjamin). May 9, 2013. If you are at a loss for fun date ideas, add this one to the list: sportsplex. We went to one in east Durham and had more fun than I thought we would. So either I had low expectations, or Doug makes anything fun, or it's nice to have some alone time. Or all three. My form is horrible. And my hands are still bruised! I barely made the cut ;). Afterwards we had to get pizza, of course. Ben loved it, of course. How else do you eat pizza? View my complete profile.

Doug & Charisse (and Benjamin): January 2013
http://dougandcharisse.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Doug and Charisse (and Benjamin). Jan 29, 2013. You didn't believe me, did you? Jan 23, 2013. I know that I really haven't posted in a long time when Doug (he reads the blog? Who knew.) said to me in the middle of the day, "you haven't done a blog post.just in case you're bored." To which I responded with a bored? Learned that wrapping paper is really fun to play with, was loved on by grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, and went sledding! Did I miss anything? I can't get enough of him! I mix in som...

Doug & Charisse (and Benjamin): Special Education Topics
http://dougandcharisse.blogspot.com/p/special-education-topics.html
Doug and Charisse (and Benjamin). Children with special needs at church. Kids with autism learning to type. College for students with disabilities. The blind will hear and the Deaf will watch. I find this quite hard to believe. On the prevalence of disabilities. Medicating children with Autism. Common sense, please! Ipads: Do they really help? People with disabilities in the media. Maybe I was wrong. About the ipads and. About people with disabilities in the media. High expectations for teachers.

Lando, Becs, Jax, Ty: January 2015
http://otterpopsandlove.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
I asked Jax what I should title this post and he said "Fire Truck." My mom then quickly responded, "title it, 'we are never ever ever leaving Utah." Haha I love my mom. Fire Truck it is. Sorry mom, we have to face reality eventually! Really excited to get into a good routine with jax! And over the moon about starting to decorate Jax and baby brothers room! Went skiing this week and loved it! Is doing well. About 24 weeks and I can't believe it. He kicks a lot! We already love him so much. His little hear...

Lando, Becs, Jax, Ty: March 2015
http://otterpopsandlove.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
I've been thinking a lot about being positive lately, particularly when it comes to parenting Jaxson. The last couple of months I've used phrases like, "stop whining" "when we're done playing you won't throw a tantrum right? Don't do that" "why are you acting like this? But let's not whine about this." And then he kept whining. I'd start counting and then even send him to time out. And then I was just frustrated. "I was so positive why did he throw a tantrum like this? It was a break through for us.

Lando, Becs, Jax, Ty: June 2015

Six years ago today Landon asked me to marry him! I don't know what he was thinking. I'm sure glad he did though. We were lucky enough to have mama Woolf stay with us til Tuesday and uncle Scotty til Thursday. Isn't family great? Has two more days of anesthesiology. He really enjoyed this rotation and is excited about his future. He finished coaching Jax's soccer team Saturday, the blue tigers! I'm so glad we did that. He's being Landon as always, doing his best to be his best. Oh and if Landon were to a...

The dreaded question
http://www.hopeafterhope.com/the-dreaded-question
Faith, Infertility. Miscarriage, Stillbirth. July 1, 2015. I could have said yes and left it at that. Yes, I have a son. However, there are always more questions. How old is he? Was bound to follow. So it’s never as simple as yes. Some days I don’t want to say the words out loud Yes but my baby died, my son was stillborn, he died before he was born or yes I still had to give birth. Some days saying no is a lot easier to bear-. At least in that moment. I believe that they know this. That their hearts ...

Our Life: April 2013
http://kaylachivers.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 12, 2013. I am a little late but I can't believe our little girl is 2 months old! Because my sister was here from Australia, we took her a week late to her 2 month check up. Here are her stats:. Weight: 9 lbs 10.5 oz (8%). Height: 21.8 in (14%). Head: 15.25 in (59%). I can barley even look at her pictures from when she was born cause it makes me want to cry! Why do babies have to grow so fast? Why can't they slow down just a tiny bit? Here are a few things about Mila's second month:. Bo's a...
