It is an ancient tradition, brought to the West by Patthabi Jois, who taught at the Ashtanga Research Institiute in Mysore, India until his passing at age 92 in 2009. The Yoga Shala, Port Macquarie’s only dedicated Ashtanga Yoga studio, offers a variety of classes for beginners and experienced students. Next Beginners Course starts Mon, 24 August.
