Saturday, November 9, 2013. Well folks, it's nine in the morning on a Saturday. And I'm awake drinking coffee with the dogs laying on the floor next to me. There's something about being alone that makes you reflect on yesterday, last week, the whole year. I've been driving, taking too many advanced classes, and doing a lot of puzzles (boring right? The weather outside is frightful, but my coffee is so delightful, and since I've no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! Also Coeur d'Alene Lake.

Saturday, June 7, 2014. Well, yesterday was the last day of my sophomore year of high school and my brothers last day of high school ever. I can't believe how fast this year went by, it hasn't really hit me yet that it's summer. I feel like I have to go back to school on Monday and I am so glad that I don't! This past school year I did some pretty cool things. I read some really good books like Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. AND Mar Mar came home from Thailand! 1 Get a job. 3 Strive to be more creative.

Thursday, September 20, 2012. Just Like Grammy Netted Me A "D". And itty bitty me. I grew up with a family who sewed all our clothes. Or at least close to it. I don't remember a time when grammy didn't have something she'd made for me in a birthday box or Christmas present. As a kid, I didn't much appreciate clothing. No kid does. It's just that "grown ups" seem to forget that when they become parents. Mom wasn't given to. This may be the exact pattern. Mom used as the yellow dress. You break both threads.

Monday, January 19, 2015. This is the beginning of finals week. In college, the week before finals week is called dead week, where students don't have a lot of homework and are supposed to spend time studying. In high school, that is not the case. This last week I have had more homework than was humanly possible to complete. I ended up using a late pass on an English assignment and my history teacher had to give everyone more time on the assignment because no one was going to finish it. And then we lost.
