Kailey's First Football Game. Kailey really wanted to go to a football game, so we took her to the CSU game yesterday. She had more fun eating popcorn than watching the game, but she says she wants to go again next year. Daddy takes the girls out trick or treating. Feeding the pumpkins to the worms. We checked our compost bin a week later.the worms LOVE the pumpkin! The girls hammered plastic pieces into their pumpkins. Add a light and the pieces glow in the dark. Kiersten gets some help from Grandma.

Kiersten during her swimming lesson with Carolyn. On Fathers Day we drove to the mountains and went to Bishops Castle. Jim Bishop has been working on the castle by himself since 1969. It's pretty incredible! The girls and Aunt Sarah. A picnic in the mountains. Fun in the Sun. A fun way to cool off in the summer heat. The girls playing on the slip n slide at Skylar's house. Mason's birthday party at The Wildlife Experience in Denver. Robots move, blink and talk. The children didn't complain though. Beth's...

We have had computer issues the past couple of months, but I am finally updating our blog! Kailey with Santa and Wolfie (the CSU mascot).Kiersten refused to sit with Santa. Kailey.aka, our little ham, is right in the middle. Kailey and classmate Julianna. Our Parade of Lights isn't quite what they have in Denver, but it was fun to get out and enjoy a little entertainment. Kailey really loved the parade.Kiersten was a little grumpy. Our first snow wasn't much, but the girls were excited about it.

Monday, October 30, 2006. So Much To Do, So Little Time. I have always felt, as a parent, that the time from Halloween to New Years Day is such a blur. This year is even worse because of the move. (Can't wait to be with Stucco in Seattle! I am so jealous, my skin is turning green! Thanks C. for spoiling him! After letting the pups out after 18 hours home alone inside (no accidents! When we were finished hiking, we had warm cider and popcorn inside the Nature Center. It was such a great experience! The Na...

Friday, June 30, 2006. I stole a few quiet moments today to read some of Zac's writings from his Kindergarten class. It caused me to reflect thoughtfully on how this whole parenting thing is really about letting your children go a little bit at a time. We have always respected our children as individuals, each with their own unique soul and it is a privilege to be able to watch them grow-up. Posted by Schmoopie @ 5:56 PM. Thursday, June 29, 2006. How mistaken I was! Posted by Schmoopie @ 7:22 AM. 4 An ol...

While we were in enjoying the sun in California, the biggest snow storm of the winter hit home. There was enough snow left for the girls to build a snowman when we arrived home. At Disneyland with Sarah, Chris, Tonya and cousins Mason and Lily. On Tom Sawyers Island. Waiting for "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience".in 3-D. We went to California during spring break. Although it was too cold to play in the water, the girls had a great time playing in the sand. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). We Can Solve It.

Thursday, November 30, 2006. We came home to find Stucco coughing his lungs out having been sent home from work. I promptly fell asleep in my chair for 2 hours. I love to nap! I felt refreshed upon awakening so I drove down to the Qdoba I found the other day and picked-up dinner. It was yummy! I needed a day like today! Back to unpacking tomorrow.
