Baking It Up As I Go Along: Brief Update
http://bakingitupasigoalong.blogspot.com/2011/12/brief-update.html
Baking It Up As I Go Along. Tales of baking (and cooking) adventures in my kitchen. Sunday, December 18, 2011. It has come to my attention that I've been nominated for "Best Kosher Food Blog" over on the Joy of Kosher's website. I would say I'm surprised by this, but I'll admit that I self-nominated. Given that the current leader is at 1000 votes and I'm at 12, I don't think I'll win, but I figure I may as well take a shot, right? If you haven't voted, you can do so here: Best Kosher Food Blog.

Kauai 2012 | Pretty Yummy Foods
http://prettyyummyfoods.com/kauai-2012
Our vacation started with a holiday, the fourth of July, so we headed over to my parent’s house for a good ol’ fish fry! My mom put two of my favorite guys in charge of the fryin’…. And I think they did a pretty good job! My Aunt’s potato salad and my mom’s homemade coleslaw were also amazing. After dinner the dads lit a few dozen fireworks and all of the cousins had a great time running around the neighborhood with sparklers! A few hours later we landed in paradise, otherwise known as Kauai! So, so good.
