We tilled the garden a couple weekends ago. It looks bigger in the photo than it does in person. Last weekend we started building a greenhouse! We originally planned to have a nice simple greenhouse design but while we were building it Orrin came up with a neat design in a hexagon shape. We want to start planting over the long weekend. Last Saturday we made plans to hike Mount Pope with James and Danella. We knew it’d be a challenge but we went in excited. It started off fairly easy. But got difficult fast. We were all having a good time enjoying the views and the hike. Kudjo always had to be out front making sure the path was safe for everyone else. But the view was worth it.

You can spend several hours exploring the town on your own or you can see it all by tour. If you enjoy history then Barkerville is worth the visit. Thursday, April 24, 2014. April 24, 2014: Titus is 7 months old. Wearing 9 month clothes. First trip to California to visit Aunty Karen, Uncle Brian, and cousins (also first airplane trip with just mommy! Sometimes sleeping through the night but more often waking up 1-2 times. Trying lots of new foods. So far he's eating most things except still not a fan of bananas or avacado. Likes olives, steak, eggs, kale, green beans, peas, carrots, etc. Loves any time he gets a little taste of sugar!

Friday, August 23, 2013. Third Time's a Charm. I know I'm blessed to have had three baby showers for this little guy, and truly the third one was charming. Talitha with help from her sisters, mom, and Rhaquel and Kaylee too, I think (who drove 2 hours to be here! The food included berries and cream and fondue both chocolate and cheese. YUM! Some of my sweet and beautiful guests:. Mrs Mack read a short chapter of encouragement to remind me that not everything has to be perfect in my house once baby is here.

Favorite new food: Sweet Potatoes. Adding in new foods: loving some bites of scrambled eggs in the morning. People always comment on his red mohawk and his smiles. We bought our first home this year in Portage, MI, Sean graduated college, and we are expecting an addition to our family! Elijah has been growing like crazy!
